Scarecrow
Listen, shoot me already. I chose all the kitchen appliances at once, but at some sink I was completely stuck.

We have: the kitchen countertop will be made of stone. I assume the installation of a sink under the countertop. I'm already stuck on the choice of material ...

It is assumed that the most popular kitchen sinks are made of stainless steel, fragranite (a composite material consisting of 80% granite chips and 20% polymer filler), ceramics, natural stone, precious metals (copper, tin, etc.). I am considering stainless steel and fragranite. Ceramics (porcelain) is prickly and at the same time is often applied to cast iron, natural stone is expensive and impractical, copper and the like are even more so. Therefore, they disappear.

I have already had Fragranite for over 10 years. Color - light beige. The dirt has eaten to death and has practically not been washed for 4 years. Only vigorous compounds with chlorine, but not for long. I have a septic tank and bleaching with chlorine is not an option for me. All bacteria will die there. Therefore, I am more inclined to stainless steel. Stainless steel stuck on Frank and Blanco, of course. Fragranite was also Franke. Withstood everything you can, but got dirty. There were no modern normal stainless steel in the farm for a long time. Suddenly, there, too, not everything is as rosy as I imagined))). I repeat - these are high-quality German sinks, in which there is no question of explosiveness and thinness. Besides, something "scary" can wait for me?

Kitchen sink
Franky
Franke's stainless steel sink (one and a half sinks plus a "wing") has been worth it for almost 13 years, the flight is normal. She even survived one dismantling and re-installation in the same place (the sink was not to blame, it was just that the furniture had to be disassembled to get the walls)
There are no complaints.
Scarecrow
Franky,

How about the appearance for so many years? Badly scratched?
Franky
appearance is as it is. A la nature, so to speak (not specially washed or rubbed):
Kitchen sink
there are scratches, of course, but absolutely within the bounds of what can be expected from an object that has been used every day for so many years.
I will only change with everything else, someday
julia_bb
I also have a stainless steel corner Franke - for 8 years everything suits me.
I bought the same one for my dacha after a long search last fall!

Scarecrow, Natasha, and I will be in the role of "Baba Yaga against"!
I lived for almost 7 years in an apartment with a granite sink, either Franco or Blanco, I don’t remember, I had a deep single sink, no sounds of water and other things - I still love it! True, she was black, she always looked clean, there were no spots, streaks and other things. (And we drink a lot of coffee, so the cups still drain into the sink)

Kitchen sink

Now I got an integrated FRANKE stainless steel sink with the kitchen, I have been living with it for almost 3 years, and there are 2 deep bowls in it, but this is where its positive qualities in front of the apartment ended. The bowls are smaller than I had, but this is my quirk.
Scratches (despite the fact that my husband and I are neat, still there are scratches in the corners of the skewers, from somewhere a few spots have appeared, not large, not critical - but they are crazy! we do not use (all the same, everything is washed in the PMM), but still not perfectly clean, not so shiny. With all my love for the kitchen, I will have free money to change the sink. My husband said that I can remove this and replace it.

I'll try to insert it from the phone. Something I stopped to cope with the phone and pictures, but the meaning is clear, the special didn’t scrub the sink, I put the dishes in the morning, now I took a picture.
Kitchen sink
Kitchen sink
drops, stains (((You can clean it off, but after half a day it will still be like this ... maybe I find fault with the sink, of course, but after the granite one, I don't want stainless steel anymore!
Scarecrow
marina-asti,

You are a parasite, yes. You voiced all my secret fears! Stainless steel all the time looks kind of unclear. Or it is necessary to rub it, which I will never do and for no reason! I used to have a stainless sink, but that was sooo long ago. Therefore, the impressions are very blurry, I wanted to ask new users. But fragranite ... In short, I am against light (everything eats into it, I already wrote), sister against black (yells that you can see just everything on it - lime drops from dried water, etc.). I'll go kill the apsten))).
marina-asti
Scarecrow, Natasha, I won't say about drops on black in the house, stains in the apartment could appear under the dish drying, I had an open drying on the sink wing without any pallet from below, yes, well, once a month I wiped them, more often did not even notice. Everything in the house depends on water.
But compared to the ever-dull stainless steel - this is such nonsense !!! I'm afraid I won't find pictures of the apartment sink in my everyday life, I saved the folder from the sale of the apartment, there I certainly didn't take pictures of the sink. But I am definitely for granite!
Well, I increased it as best I could - there were no stains, no scratches were visible, nothing!
Kitchen sink

Well, if not black, there are probably the same colors that you can pick up.
Scarecrow
marina-asti,

You have no idea how I got sick of my kitchen. Now a bunch of some incomprehensible flaws comes out due to which either the kitchen does not become exactly 1 cm, then some valve sticks out and (it turns out !!!) does not come out, then the switch (oh, I did where it was before! ) turns out to be behind the column with household appliances. I don't want anything anymore, I want to end all this nonsense as quickly as possible with minimal losses. Because it's that kind of money - to fall and not get up ...

And I need black fragranite. If fragranite. Well, to be combined with a black cooktop and an oven door. Taking the gray one - it is necessary to rummage through the shades, ride with a piece of countertop and facade ... That is, add another shade of gray to this duet. Well nafig ...
Irina F
Oh, but I'm black, well, nothing at all
We have such a serious filtration and still manage to appear white blotch marks (((. I'm just tired of it !!!
I really, really want to replace it! True, I don't know what for!
I also suffer. But the one that I have now is mad !!!
Irina F
Here, here and took black under the cooking. And now, to be honest, I don't care what it is, as long as it’s normal and doesn’t pester her every time you approach her !!!
marina-asti
Went to see what is there today, listen, and gray for example? I did not see what color your table top and walls are in the end, there are options:
Kitchen sink

Franke has almond color
Kitchen sink

They have graphite Kitchen sink

Here! Average between stainless steel and granite !!!)))
Kitchen sink

Irina, I say that she was in the apartment, we had a new house with good water, plus filters were installed in the apartment, I didn't have any white spots there.
I probably don't want black in the house, I'm not talking about color, I'm against stainless steel)))
Irina F
Marina., yes, I live in the house, the sink costs three years, the filtration is powerful!
But, she really spoils my mood!
So I want to solve this problem, so I will watch here that Natuska, in the end, chooses!)))
marina-asti
Irina F, here! and I have been suffering for 3 years in a house with stainless steel))) I put a silver photo there, but I really like it, I will think in this direction)))

Bliin ((looked offhand that you could pick up horseradish in my countertop and on this sad note I leave to sob into my pillow
Scarecrow
I will kill you both !!)))

Blanco has a dark gray color (like a dark rock). You can try to watch it live. But the third gray color, right now, is neither here nor there ... I was thinking about him. In addition, my under-table cup should be, one cup 40 by 40:

Kitchen sink
Scarecrow
marina-asti,

Why can't you pick it up under your countertop?
marina-asti
Scarecrow, I will need one that is built in under the countertop, although I took a quick glance, but Franke, for example, has a small selection of bowls under the countertop.
Here's what I also saw - no one knows what this magic cover is?
Smeg stainless steel
Antique silver PVD coating
All Smeg products are made of high quality AISI304 stainless steel. The unique production technology allows you to preserve the thickness of the material around the entire perimeter of the sink, and thereby increase its service life. The special PVD coating makes the sinks even more resistant to scratches and damage.

On different pictures this "dark rock" looks differently, maybe you can pick it up in tone ... But on the other hand, I would have introduced the 3rd color, than spit when everyone approaches the sink! In this I completely agree with Irina.
Scarecrow
marina-asti,

Have you seen Blanco? I'm hanging out in Blanco. There are not so many under-table bowls at all, but there are quite options.

I’m thinking what to do with a kitchen that doesn’t fit ... My husband measured it. Just did not take into account that the battery protrudes beyond the limits of its measurements))). Oh...
In short, I understood from the example of the bathroom and kitchen. that without my ubiquitous nose in any way. I always cling with my eye to something that Yuriku does not even think of. And here I was too lazy. Well, I'm tired of repairs just tin. And as a result, there are a lot of small ones ... But they could have been avoided ... The husband is still laughing as they forgot to bring the water to the toilet cistern and the roller shutter key was moved 3 times))).
Olga VB
Blank-Francs ...
I have a stainless steel - sold together with Czech cuisine 20 years ago - until now, as good as new. And this despite the fact that I do not have a PMM yet, all the years in a row everything in it is mine - the flight is more than normal.
Of course, it is thicker than they are doing now, more solid, but it looks like it was bought yesterday. Moreover, I don’t make any effort to it - I don’t scrub, I don’t clean. I just go through at the end of use with a brush - the same as the dishes before this soap - and shine again.
Right now, too, I will pick everything up in a new apartment. Will I find such a high-quality sink and such a spacious
Although by design it will not fit very well, I'm afraid of composite ones.
Incidentally, I haven't been to IKEA for 100 years, but last week I stopped by, and there were all sorts of stainless steel sinks. The sizes don't suit me very well, but m. someone will just be. True, I do not know what their quality is, but they look normal, and I did not feel the details
Scarecrow
Olga VB,

You're in luck. By coincidence, I got a good thing. Especially. what came in the kit - you didn't have much choice. And it could not be lucky and get bullshit. And then you have to choose yourself, with your own hands. Some guarantee is the name of the manufacturer. I used both Franke and Blanke. Very good, reliable. My sink has withstood 10 years of hellish use. The color has lost a little in the bowl (it is not washed out to the end), but the rest withstood it with flying colors. And now imagine that I bought something there that looks pretty, they mounted it in a solid stone countertop 5m long and then something happened to this unfortunate sink. It will be cool to pick it out from there and pick up another to close the hole))).
julia_bb
I wash my stainless steel once every half a year, as they say. Moreover, they are different: glossy and matte. I initially chose a more matte finish, so as not to rub constantly ...
And our water is bad in the house and limescale, and there is rust, the pipes are very old ...
Scarecrow
julia_bb,

I've also thought about matte, but they are not. There are only glossy ones from those manufacturers that I want or take another company. And a little dumb ...

In short, I'm completely confused ... I'm sitting there suffering.)))
anel
Scarecrow, I have a Blanco sink, black costs 2.5 years. The color has certainly faded a little, but overall I'm happy. I also chose for a long time, like your hob and oven in black.
Before that there was a stainless steel sink for 15 years, I like it more from stone.

Kitchen sink

I'm sorry, the photo from the phone turned over
anel
Now there are all sorts of washing gels, they clean well and even the color is restored a little after them.

I did not watch anything until yesterday evening)))))
And you and your husband cannot make repairs without incident))) otherwise it will not be you)
The kitchen does not fit too much? Most likely you won't change the battery, but the cabinet can probably be ...
Scarecrow
marina-asti,

Oh really. There are no such heights that the Bolsheviks would not have taken! (from))))
The battery can be removed. Absolutely and nafig. Because it will still be completely closed and the kitchen has a warm floor.
marina-asti
Scarecrow, You see now! The problem with the kitchen that does not fit is almost solved)))
Scarecrow
marina-asti,

Yes, it's just brilliant to do everything like a testicle and now deal with dismantling the battery! Some kind of stupidity))). But we have no other way.
ir
I really like the Blanco sink, we have a sandy color, for almost 2 years now, it looks much better and more interesting than stainless steel. Washes well.

Let's see what you say in 5 years. Mine, like Chuchelkina, is about 10 years old, and I also need to apply hellish efforts to preserve the color, and this is also not very successful.

I will change to a new one, during this time something interesting will still appear

For 10 years nothing super-new has appeared. The same sinks. It's just that the designs change, but not drastically.

I have a sink from Ikea, not cheap ... After two months of use (I have a dishwasher, if anything), everything is covered with incomprehensible scratches and all in some kind of plaque, and I wash it every evening, wipe it after every rinsed thing ! She pisses me off !! Over the past few years, Ikea has been terrifying in quality!

And even disappear! Before this one, I also had Blanco-granite, but with a trash hatch. How I wanted the same - but, no, they were discontinued. Yes, and the one that is now darkened, cannot be replaced with the same one, all like the right cup is less deep. For comparison - at the beginning and now:

And finally, there is already such theme .

My sink for 4 years has gotten only one scratch from a knife thrown into the sink, which is easily worn out and is almost invisible, and there are no coffee stains, although in the morning my husband constantly pours into the sink and cannot be weaned. And the sink is cheap - when I bought it, they scared it with stains and fragility, it was a pity to buy an expensive one, I bought the cheapest one. Lebl on her "Poligran". I have the smallest of their line. But the coverage did not disappoint. I just don't like that it is very deep, although I specially bought one, and the crane is still unsuccessful, high jib, one to one as in the photo marina-asti, if I change, then to a mixer with a shower.

"Poligran".
I also have this, only the color "anthracite". 6 years - normal flight. Even if it gets a little darker, I pour hot water with "Whiteness" and the stains go away. Polygran has many models and colors.
marina-asti
Stafa, I just have a shower, but I rarely use it, I am absolutely happy with the faucet, the faucet was also included with the kitchen, although I had several to choose from. But these are some kind of mixers that came with kitchens from Italy.
Stafa
Mine is as tall as on your stainless steel sink, but without a shower. I'm uncomfortable with a tall goose, and everything is always splashing. Now I want a low and pull-out shower that works in tap mode.
marina-asti
Stafa, I found which one I have, they are not sold in Russia like) PAINI COX 591 - no splashes, just at all, despite the deep sink. I think it depends not only on the height, but also on the internal structure. But tall items are easy to wash.

Thank you, but they look like twins from afar. I have some Germanic.

yes, it is very convenient. I have already "demolished" one for 10 years, and replaced it with a similar one. It is very convenient to pour water into large flower vases :-)

As for the sink - if I choose between obviously high-quality manufacturers, then I would take the material that I like. Otherwise, everyone will advise and vote, and Chuchelka will look at it every day. And every time to say to myself that according to some parameters the risk of this or that "spoilage" is less. Well her. stainless steel - if you like other material - let it be. But it will be nice. They are still not eternal.

Buy a nozzle from Teskoma, screw it on the tap, and you will be happy. I have been using this for a long time - I like it. There you can move the head to two positions - soft jet or shower.

People, explain to me, please, what are the advantages of a flush sink over an invoice. Maybe I don’t understand ... I see only one plus for the mortise: if it is located in the middle of a long countertop, that is, so as not to cut through the countertop, but to embed only the sink. But if the sink is on the edge of the kitchen unit, then what is the point of embedding it? After all, the sink space is lost, the wing is especially reduced, it seems to be farther from you, you still have to wash not only the wing, but also the tabletop. In the overhead sink, there are more maneuvers for inserting the mixer, you want it right in, you want it diagonally. In the mortise, there is nowhere to put a separate tap for the filter, you will have one mixer for everything, but it seems to me that it is more convenient when a separate one. I wash my fruits so often: I turn on both of them and mine under hot water, rinse them with filtered water, and then one mixer will have to be turned.
For washing the sink itself, a consignment note is also more convenient, there are sides - nothing will spill over them, but in the mortise everything will pour onto the countertop ... The mortise below the countertop, only sunk in ... So there is no wing in it.
Totosha
I have a Blanco granite sink for 8 years, the color of wet asphalt, not a single stain. I am very happy after the stainless steel, but I also chose the color after complaints about light colors. And about the tall jib, I also use the crane attachment and I'm just happy!

Hostesses, owners of granite (and similar sinks), tell us. about such a moment as draining hot water into the sink (after boiling potatoes or pasta). I really want a car wash. stone, but it stops this very moment - as I present it as boiling water from a saucepan straight into the sink, as much as goosebumps (well, how it will crack).
dopleta
Nope, it won't crack. Well, of course, we are talking about high-quality sinks from well-known manufacturers.

I have had Granikom made of artificial stone for a year now, I really like it after stainless steel - and the water is noisy and deep, it is convenient to wash the Isidri trays in it - I plugged the drain, took in water, threw the trays / nets / trays for soaking, rubbed it with a sponge and that's it! And nothing will spill on the tabletop, since the sides are provided on the sides.
Elenochka Nikolaevna
I have a sink made of artificial stone for 5 years. Don't be afraid nothing will crack. Although I remember how I drove my own in the beginning, so that the dishes were put neatly in the sink. I was afraid for the sink.

The sink is not afraid of anything, very durable. I have been using the sink for about ten years
Not afraid of cold or boiling water. And there were times when something fell into her

The nets and trays for isidri and my orson in it, they fit well into the sink - soak with dishwashing detergent and after half an hour you can rinse off with a sponge

There is only one drawback: the surface of vegetables is poorly washed, especially when it's time for blanks and a lot of them need to be cleaned and washed.
And not only from vegetables, dyes remain on the surface, a lot from what.
But washing is a problem Until I found a good detergent for cleaning the sink inside I resigned myself to this that the sink is essentially clean, washed - but traces of staining remain
