Scythe "Fragrant" (cold dough)

Scythe Fragrant (cold dough)

Ingredients

Yogurt (I have fruit) 300 ml.
Dry yeast 1.5 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Honey 2 tsp
Butter (room temperature) 50 gr.
(I have vegetable oil) 3 tbsp. l
Salt 1 tsp
Egg (SB) 1 PC.
Wheat flour, premium 400 gr.
Wheat flour 1c. * 200 gr.
Sesame or poppy seeds ** for sprinkling

Cooking method

  • Mix warm yogurt, sugar and yeast. Put in a warm place until the hat appears

  • (I stood for 18 hours. I had to knead it 2 times, because the dough was trying to escape)... On the trail. take out the dough for a day, leave it on the table to warm up for about an hour

  • Next, remove the dough from the bowl, knead, divide into 3 parts

  • Roll each part into bundles and braid

  • Cover the baking sheet with paper, put a braid on it. Cover with a film or towel and put in a warm place until 3x magnification

  • Brush the braid with yolk and sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds on top

  • Bake with steam for 10 minutes at 230 Cabout, then lower the temperature to 180 Сabout and bake for another 15-20 minutes

* can be substituted for the highest grade
** I have nigella sowing (aka Nigella or Kalindzhi)

Spit fully lives up to its name. The aroma during baking was simply gorgeous. It turned out to be the most delicate fragrant bun with a crispy crust!

The recipe spied on Povarenka 🔗 and changed a little for myself. The author adds coriander and lemon juice to the dough
