Krambambula (honey tincture)

Ingredients

Carnation buds 2-4 pcs
Vodka 40 degrees ½ liter
Filtered water 1 glass
Ground cinnamon ½ tsp
Nutmeg (ground or shabby) ¼ h. L.
Honey 2-4 st. l.
Black pepper 2-3 peas

Cooking method

  • Once, while exhibiting another recipe, I mentioned this drink. And he, or rather his name, interested someone on the forum. Since then, I have constantly lived with the thought of finding a recipe and cooking. And of course to share with you. After reading a bunch of information, I realized that the true recipe for this drink has also sunk into oblivion. Krambambuli recipes are dark, as well as potato pancakes. The same darkness of cocktails with this drink. Having selected a few of the brightest, I chose the one where the honey, which is part of the drink, is not heat-treated. For I am sure that it is harmful.
  • That's all we need. I'll make a reservation right away that the amount of spices depends on your preferences. For example, I don't really like cloves, so I only take two buds. But I love the mixture of cinnamon and nutmeg. Therefore, my norm is at the highest level. And I am skeptical about the sweetness in strong drinks, so only 2 tablespoons of honey. But maybe you have other preferences?
  • To begin with, crush the cloves in a mortar or in a saucer with a wooden crush. Dilute a glass of vodka from the total amount with a glass of water, add all the spices there and bring to a boil in a saucepan under the lid. Boil for no more than 10 minutes over the lowest heat. Then remove the lid and let the steam out. Pour in the remaining vodka. Then introduce honey. Close the lid and let stand for 5 minutes. An extraordinary aroma will fill your kitchen.
  • Throw black pepper into a dish (bottle, jar, etc.), strain the tincture into it through a thick layer of gauze. Cork tightly and leave to cool in a dark place.
  • You can serve krambambula chilled or warmed. Krambambula (honey tincture)

Note

By the way, the drink got the name "Krambambula" from the German liqueur "Krambambuli", which was produced in Danzig from juniper and brandy. (I say that Germany is somewhere near Minsk.) One sauerkraut, potato pancakes ... (It's just that they've been to us too often - a historical fact. Previously, more and more thriving like that. And now more and more with humanitarian aid ...)
In the jargon of European students, the word "krambambuli" denoted various spirits. (Here's a laugh - then, the tincture is strong, they did not try our strong ones!) The Belarusian recipe for the drink existed in pre-revolutionary times, but did not receive much distribution. Now it has become widely known. Served in almost all cafes and restaurants of Belarusian cuisine.

Very appetizing. I will try to prepare a half portion, because somehow I can’t drink the drinks "with a degree". But with honey and spices I think it will "slip through")) There will be something to do in NG, otherwise they always force me to "well, drink at least something, it's a holiday"

Oh Neighbor, as you look into the water - I prepared this for my mother on the New Year's table, so that it brewed a little. I love this drink - it's very easy to make. The ingredients are not complicated.Cook and enjoy. My mom loves to sip it a little under the Blue Light.

Irinka! Well, in general, they didn’t give me a decanter to show the krambambula in it ... Enemies! They have homemade cognac poured there ... But, I turned out. I found a nice glass to report back.
As I already told you, we checked out krambambula!
I have prepared as many as three for the New Year! liters: buckwheat honey, lime and meadow honey. All three are great! Buckwheat was the first to leave ... Hellishly delicious swill!
The second is on linden honey. Delicate and delicate taste! A wonderful thing!
Now we finish the third, savoring the one on the meadow. Mmm! Song!
I can't even say which one tastes better. All are good to disgrace! Ah, they are delicious!
Thank you for opening Temka, my friend! There is now where suck discuss with you the subtleties of cooking and drinking your national yummy!
But, she kicks in the head great! So, nevertheless, I advise the tasters not to get carried away too much! Although I understand that it will be sooo difficult to stop, and sometimes it is simply impossible!

By the way, since I'm so unceremonious stuck came to your house! ... Irinka! Do you intend to open a topic with a palendvitsa in the near future?
One of these days I'm going to stir up a palendvichka ... When it's ready, I would gladly show it in your topic!
Or the topic is already there, and I, with my usual blindness, rustled past?

No Irishechka, all the noble meat stocks left for the New Year. There is something left in the storehouse, but that's another story. And while we will tie our mouths. Why would you open it yourself? What is stopping you? These recipes are from the category of eternal! Let you have one too.

That's how great you are! Sensible! On different honeys - I can imagine how delicious! Thank you for your kind words! I just discovered this thing for myself. If it is very strong, you can dilute it more. But less is better! Enjoy your health!

Since the spices are brewed, you can use it immediately and even in a warm (like mulled wine) form. We tried in different ways - the taste always changes and becomes brighter. Cook and tell!

Irus! I find that it would be the height of ingratitude on my part to crawl into your sphere of influence with my amateur paws!
There is a great connoisseur of Belarusian cuisine at the forum! It's you!
I agree to be on the catch, but no more!
So, let's wait for your topic! I am sure she, like everyone else, will be excellent! Because you are a miracle!

Oh Irisha, what are you! Do not even admit such thoughts. In our country, as such, the Belarusian cuisine has probably died out. I cook what we cook in every house. I get out on my husband's salary, that's why the recipes are so simple. Your kind words fell so pleasantly on my heart that I wanted to dance! ... Thank you, my dear! Prepare and display your recipes, start your temki! There are NO my spheres here - there are ours!

Well, I even reduce the amount of water in the recipe ... I add only 0.5 stacks of vodka to half a liter of vodka. water. That - that, I have such a vigorous krambambula!

And, this, really, whoever is lucky, my dear! Who has enough of this, and who and every month, like a clock, to the clinic by ambulance ...

And, perhaps, for the next holiday, I will put on a weaker one. And - that, has worn out us now well. Even the concert was not fully watched on New Year's Eve.
Or, just getting old ...

Tumanchik, I noticed the recipe for a long time, but did not do it, and the other day I read a book, and there is a song about Krambambuli. This means that it was a very popular drink at the beginning of the 20th century.
S.N.Sergeev-Tsensky Spring in Crimea, Chapter 5
"The tenant sang about some kind of wine" krambambuli ".

Crum-bam-buli, inheritance of fathers,
Favorite drink with us,
And u-u-flat is such a remedy,
When we sometimes feel sad.
Then we are night and day
Ready to drink krum-bam-bully
Crum-bam-bam-bam-bully
Krambambuli!
When-a-a-cheating on me de-e-va,
I’m not long about that gru-u-schu-u:
In the pride of the righteous wrath-eva
I'm just going to put a plug on the ceiling!
Then all the virgins, at least damn it,
Then I drink crum-bam-buli
Crum-bam-bam-bam-bully
Krambambuli!
When will it happen to me to call
On a dirty, one hundred-I-mean two-oh,
That, without sitting down yet both-e-eat,
I turn my gaze to the glasses ... "
Tumanchik
Elya, you just put me into a trance! So glad!!!! And the poems are very perky! If you do not mind, then I will edit the recipe and insert them into the text, with your permission of course!

Irisha, sincerely the tasting has passed. In an international spirit: Moroccan oranges, Italian pizza, Russian pies and pies, Ukrainian decanter and Belarusian krambambula.
Krambambula (honey tincture)

P.S. But for the New Year's krambambuli, I introduced a little nuance: I added a little candied orange zest, chips. Top layer without white. Why is krambambula good that you can drive it to your liking. And it is done quickly.

Thanks for the recipe!
