sugar 200 g
nuts 100 g
cocoa 50 g
baking powder 10 g
premium wheat flour 350 g

Cooking method

  • I've been baking waffles on my favorite grill for the fourth day (in the relevant topic already shared her experience). I decided to lay out this composition of ingredients in a separate recipe, because in my opinion, it is the most successful!
  • Beat eggs with sugar until firm peaks. Add milk, butter, melted and cooled to room temperature, mix (I did it at the minimum mixer speed). The resulting mass looked like this

  • Then add the chopped nuts (I have a mixture of hazelnuts, almonds and walnuts in approximately the same proportions). I deliberately did not grind it into flour, leaving it in small crumbs. Grinding with a Kenwood multi-grinder, for convenience pouring 50 ml from the total amount of milk.
  • Mix gently.
  • Sift flour, cocoa and baking powder into a separate bowl, add to the dough, mix.
  • The finished dough is like a pancake, you can see nut splashes in the photo.

  • Baked on mode 4 for about 7 minutes each batch.

From the indicated number of ingredients, 5 sets of 6 wafers were obtained.
It is better to cut into squares hot, well, or break them cold. The waffles are crunchy, with a bright nutty taste!
