Baker
Hello,

I bought OW1201 Neo a couple of months ago, I bake bread on the sly. I mastered wheat, baguette, half-grain yeast (with and without malt), recently made from wholemeal flour. In general, I can now make the assortment of bread that I used to buy in stores at home.

However, now I began to look at the substitution of other flour products, and faced a problem that I had not thought about before. My oven has six programs: (1) wheat bread, (2) quick bread, (3) baguette, (4) wholemeal bread, (5) sweet bread, and (6) dough. When I was choosing a bread maker, I reasoned that everything else is unnecessary excesses, in extreme cases I will make the dough and bake it in the oven. But now it turns out that, for example, muffins are baked on special programs "muffins" or "baking" (and then the dough is made separately, outside the bread machine). I have no such programs. And we all love and eat cupcakes, but the price is already over 100 rubles. for a "loaf" of cottage cheese or orange I passed - at the very time to switch to homemade.

Therefore, the question is ripe: is it possible to replace specialized programs (first of all, the above-mentioned "cake") with simple general-purpose programs that I have? So far, "quick bread" is most like a "cake" in time (two hours, of which 45 minutes are baked), but, for sure, the kneading / proofing is not suitable there - or maybe this is not so important?

In general, can I bake something other than bread on my programs? The "ideal" result is not so important to me as positively edible (that is, so that you can eat from a good life, and not from hunger).

Thank you!
