Also, the jam mode was tested.

Ingredients:
3 cups black currant
2 cups red currant
4 cups of sugar.

In the original recipe, it was said that the berries need to be chopped with a blender, which was done.
As a result, the jam was too thin. From another recipe, it was learned that you can bind excess juice in jam with gelatin. 1 tbsp was soaked. l. for 40 minutes to swell, then heated to almost boiling. The gelatin was added to the jam and the bucket was returned to the bread maker for good mixing.
When the jam cooled down, it became thicker, but still not as we would like.

Next time we will try the same recipe in a slightly different version: just mash the berries a little with a crush to extract a small amount of juice, cover it with sugar, and press "start")

Recipe for jam in bread maker # 2:
3 cups red currant
2 cups black currant
4 cups sugar

Cover the peeled and washed berries with sugar to give juice. Transfer the mass to the bread maker and set the "Jam" mode. It lasts one hour, after which the jam was too liquid, undercooked. The container was returned to the bread maker and the procedure was repeated. As a result, most likely because of the dense currant skins, such a normal jam was obtained. But not jam. By the way, the book contains strawberry jam as a recipe - the berry is soft, besides, it had to be "crushed with a fork" beforehand - this is probably the ideal jam recipe for this bread machine.

Yes, in both cases, two full liter and half liter cans of sweet treats were obtained.
