Ingredients

Chatterbox:
Water 200g
Wheat flour 100g
Fast-acting yeast (Saf-moment) 5g
Sugar 1h l.
Dough:
Chatterbox all
Water 150g
Wheat flour 400g
Salt 1h l.
Deep fat oil
Ground cinnamon for sprinkling (not used)
For syrup *:
Water 250g
Sugar 250g
Honey 100g

Cooking method

  • For a chatterbox, heat the water to 40C, add flour, yeast. sugar, beat until smooth, cover and leave for 30 minutes.
  • For the dough, add all the other ingredients to the miter box and knead to a soft, elastic dough.
  • With hands moistened with oil, collect the dough into a ball, place in a greased container, grease the dough with oil on top. Cover and leave for 60-90 minutes.
  • Prepare syrup. Pour sugar with water, bring to a boil, boil for 10 minutes. Then add honey, stir until honey is completely dissolved, remove from heat, keep warm.
  • * In the original recipe for syrup, take 2 tbsp. sugar + 1 tbsp. honey, but my hand did not rise to put so much. Even from my count it turned out VERY sweet.
  • Heat the oil in a wide saucepan.
  • With hands moistened with water, gently pinch off a piece of dough. the size of a walnut. Shape the dough into a ball. toss in boiling oil, fry. turning periodically until browning evenly.
  • Put the finished donuts on a paper napkin.
  • Then put the donuts in a wide dish, pour over the syrup and leave for 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving (not sprinkled).
  • Eat with your hands, dipping donuts in syrup and licking your fingers!))))
