Sugar syrup for cocktails

Ingredients

Granulated sugar 1 part
Cane Sugar (Demerara) 1 part
Water 2 parts

Cooking method

  • A year ago, I came across a recipe for sugar syrup online from a combination of granulated sugar and cane sugar. Did it. We liked adding it to cocktails (hot or cold). Since then, I have been doing it as needed.
  • Measure out the components.
  • Pour water into a container and put it on medium heat.
  • As the water heats up, add sugar and stir until they are completely dissolved.
  • Bring the mixture to boiling point, but do not boil (so that the foam does not stand out).
  • Remove the syrup from heat and cool.
  • Sugar syrup for cocktails
  • For storage, pour into a container (bottle) with a lid and store in the refrigerator.
