Flan with pumpkin, cheese and sage

Ingredients

pumpkin ~ 600 gr
sage leaves 7-8 pcs
soft cheese (Ricotta, Philadelphia) 150 g
Parmesan cheese 30 g
milk 20 g
eggs 2 pcs
olive oil
salt, pepper, nutmeg

Cooking method

  • This recipe is, of course, primarily for those who love pumpkin.
  • Preheat oven to 200 C.
  • Peel the pumpkin and cut into small cubes. Place in a baking dish. Season with salt, add sage leaves, olive oil. Mix well.
  • Cover with aluminum foil, place in oven and bake for 30-40 minutes.
  • Cool down. Place in a blender, add milk and blend until puree.
  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese with grated Parmesan cheese. Add eggs and then pumpkin puree.
  • Season with salt and pepper, add grated nutmeg.
  • Distribute the mixture into the molds.
  • There are two cooking methods.
  • 1. Steam cooking
  • To do this, cover the mold with foil, place in the MV steam basket and cook for about 20-25 minutes.
  • 2. Baking
  • Preheat oven to 170 degrees
  • Place the foil-covered molds in the oven, in a mold filled with water, and bake in a water bath for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Let cool for a few minutes, then remove.
  • I did this and that. The taste is not very different, but still, opinions are divided. My husband liked the option for a couple more, in my oven in a water bath.
