Jellied "Russian snack"

Ingredients

all kinds of meat cuts in any amount
sausage trimmings in any amount
meat broth to cover all products
gelatin in the amount specified in the instructions
boiled eggs 1 round pieces per serving
pickles 1-2pcs
greens Little
salt pepper taste
portion molds optional

Cooking method

  • Soak gelatin in the proportions as written on the package
  • Dissolve it in hot broth.

  • Pour our broth with gelatin dissolved in it into molds, one cm.
  • We put in the refrigerator and wait until it hardens.
  • While the jelly is solidifying, cut our meat leftovers into small strips

  • Add them to the saucepan in the remaining broth.

  • Now we cut our pickles, also into strips and add to the saucepan with cold cuts.
  • Chopped garlic can be added if desired.

  • As soon as our jelly with a layer of 1 cm has frozen in tins, we take them out and put boiled eggs cut into a circle on the jelly.
  • Next to the egg we lay a sprig of greens (I have only yolks, since the proteins were needed to stuff them with mushrooms)

  • Now pour the remaining broth with cold cuts into the molds.
  • I like the appetizer to be thick, that is, a lot of meat and broth with gelatin just for a bunch.

  • Then we take it out, put it on a dish and decorate it before serving.

The good thing about the recipe is that it brings together the leftovers of all the meat products that you have left when preparing holiday dishes. Well, or like mine, left after the holiday preparation. (unexpected find in the refrigerator !!)
It is made according to the principle of jellied meat.
I want to make a reservation right away that proportions do not exist here, since all the leftovers from the refrigerator are collected here (well, in a good sense of the word)
