Ingredients

Pork (pulp) 1 kg
Bulb onions 3-4 pcs
Allspice peas 3-5 pcs
Black peppercorns 3-5 pcs
Bay leaf 2-3 pcs
Salt taste
Ground black pepper taste
Vegetable oil
Water

Cooking method

  • Chop the pork (larger than for goulash) and simmer in a pan with vegetable oil under the lid (stirring as needed).

  • After 15-20 minutes, when the pork gives enough juice in the pan, put the onion chopped into rings. Mix. Season with salt and pepper to taste, add bay leaf and peppercorns. Mix everything again, add no more than 0.5 cups of water (there should be enough liquid, but not a lot), cover and simmer until tender.

The meat is tender and very aromatic. Such meat used to be prepared by my dad every weekend, it was his signature dish. He cooked it in a cast-iron frying pan and served it on the table in it, since we liked to dip the khlubushki into the resulting meat juice. For me this dish is "the taste of childhood", but for those whom I treat it to become a favorite dish.
