Class! Lenochka, very cool!
I just don't understand - is it sweet or not? The amount of sugar seems to be not very ...
Elven
Thank you, Sashul!
Not very sweet, like a shop cut loaf

And I thought it was sweet, but not a cupcake, of course, but enough sugar.
Elven
Angela., for me sugar is just right. If you need sweets as for rolls, I think you can increase both sugar and honey
Sonadora
Lenochka, what a beauty! And the crumb - there are simply no words, it is impossible to come off!
Marusya
Lena, wonderful halo, extraordinary beauty!
Elven
Marina, Marusya, thank you very much Today I took half of one challah to work, they just ate it with tea, tore off pieces with their hands and gnaw it
impus
and I have a question - did you take the pumpkin puree ready-made, or can you kill the boiled / baked pumpkin?
Elven

I report: I did not bake the pumpkin, but cooked it in milk. in fact, this is milk and added% to the dough). because in this case the pumpkin puree was watery, I added flour (well, about 70 g). added so that the view of the kolobok was as in the author's photo. formed a challah and back into a bread maker. therefore the form is like that. from above did not sink, there is a scythe
that's what happened
Pumpkin challah
and my child, who hates the pumpkin, happily ate it.
great recipe
impus
Yes! I have such a yellowish one - I added a little gentle curry. just love him

Baked it today. It turned out two wonderful challah. Thanks a lot for the recipe.

Note: Looked at the original recipe, there are also spices for American pumpkin pie (cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger). Next time I will definitely add them, there will be a wonderful aroma and it will emphasize the belonging of this recipe to American cuisine.
Elven
Snowflake21, to your health I'm glad that I liked the recipe!

looked at the original recipe, there are still spices for American pumpkin pie
Yeah, there is such a thing. I also love this mixture of spices. But apart from me, no one in the family respects them, so I did not add them to the challah. For some reason I thought I wrote in a note about spices
Snowflake21
Thanks for the answer. I love challah and American cuisine and pumpkin. Usually in the fall I bake American pumpkin pies, but here it is. I could not pass by.
