Girls, in which stores do you buy Jerusalem artichoke? I've been looking for it for a long time, I can't find it.
MariV
I grow it myself, and I've gathered another crop.

Jerusalem artichoke, from the price - in a slight shock.
The markets should already appear, the land was already soft this weekend, it was possible to dig up.
Florichka
And I was lucky! I bought Jerusalem artichoke today from a granny, a spring digging, and for only 80 rubles a kg. I want to plant a couple of tubers in the country, because it is also called the Jerusalem artichoke and it is very useful.
MariV
It's too early to plant now, unless it gets warmer by the weekend. But if the ground is thawed, then you can. And it is stored for no more than 10 days.

I buy close to home, in a Bucharest store. I haven't seen it in other stores. This is the South-West Administrative District.

By the weekend, although they promised almost 14 degrees of heat, it is still too early. At my dacha there is a forest all around, there is a lot of snow, and the earth has not thawed yet.
MariV
Then there is no need to rush to the landing. Moreover, the second day it snows, and at night until -7 in Moscow. Today in Ashan I saw Jerusalem artichoke - you can't remember without tears.
Gala
Olga, does he ever go there? In any form?
MariV
On a tray, all cracked, darkened, next to the asparagus, in the vegetable section. Perhaps it was the remains - just two trays.

It hit me in the head to buy Jerusalem artichoke, I ordered it. Delivery is twice as expensive as a vegetable. I went to the doctor, talked about this and that, at the same time asked if I needed Jerusalem artichoke and how best to use it. Yesterday I received 3 kg of Jerusalem artichoke in the mail. We have a course autumn treatment, so again a visit to the doctor, after the procedures the doctor tells me - and I have a present for you - and gives a heavy package. What is it? Jerusalem artichoke from my dacha Now I have a vegetable store at home. I bought a resti grater on purpose, cooked the salad yesterday, added another apple and carrot. Liked. Now I'm looking Galina, to your recipe, and I can't imagine what taste fried Jerusalem artichoke can have. Tell me about it, because we can't eat much in the form of a salad.

What a good doctor!
I also bought in the store earlier, expensive. A Olga (MariV) she shared with me the roots of Jerusalem artichoke, now I have my own growing.

Tanya, raw Jerusalem artichoke, of course, is healthier, but I can't eat a lot of it in the form of salads either

... I can't imagine how fried Jerusalem artichoke tastes like. Tell me approximately
Tanya, I can say that it does not look like a potato, it is not starchy. Maybe on root celery, but, of course, without a pronounced taste. In this combination (as in the recipe), it is still soaked in turkey juice. I like. Try it. Try it a little.

Galya, we have a family doctor True, we are not friends with families, but the relationship is very trusting.
Topinamdur from the doctor turned out to be much better in quality than the imported one. I made a salad, I really liked it. Now I will definitely try to cook according to your recipe. I'll report back as soon as I'm ready.
