Green lentils with minced meat, onions and carrots (pressure cooker Polaris 0305)

Ingredients

Small green lentils 1 cup (250 g)
Water 2 cups (500 g)
Mixed minced meat 120 g
Bulb onions 1/2 pcs.
Grated carrots 4 tbsp. l.
Fine salt 1-1 1/4 tsp
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • I cooked lentils for the 2nd time in my life. The first was a soup a few years ago, but did not impress with its taste. Now I decided to try to make a side dish. But I doubted very much that my meat-eaters would like it “without anything”. Therefore, I added minced meat.
  • The dish turned out to be so delicious that everyone regretted having done so little. The taste is very vaguely reminiscent of a cross between peas and beans. And meat, and carrots, and onions turned out to be very appropriate. They enriched the dish and made it more satisfying.
  • We will cook this simple and healthy dish more than once.
  • Cooking.
  • I defrosted the minced meat, cut the onion into small cubes. I took frozen carrots (grated on a coarse grater).
  • On the program "Frying", pressure - 3 first fry the onion with the addition of oil, then added the minced meat and carrots. The whole roast took a couple of minutes. Disabled the program.
  • I washed the lentils, poured them onto the minced meat and vegetables. I filled it with water. I poured in salt. Mixed everything up.
  • Cooked on the "Rice" program, pressure - 1, time - 15 minutes. Held on "Heating" 5 minutes, carefully relieved the pressure, stirred the dish and put it on the plates.
  • Bon Appetit.

Lenus, well, you just threw recipes "for every day" - that's enough for ten years ahead! Everything is very simple and tasty at the same time!
Please tell me, is there a "Multipovar" mode in your cartoon? I ask because my mom may very soon feel the need for a multicooker! So I see that you have all sorts of simple recipes in bulk, so that she doesn't have to look for it again. Now it remains only to stop on a specific model / brand of the multicooker.

Lenochka, what a compliment! Thank you!
It seems to me that we have enough complicated dishes on the forum. But for every day, sometimes there is not enough time for creativity or strength for complex manipulations with products. Therefore, I will exhibit some successful finds. To make it simple, fast and, of course, delicious.

Lena, no multi-cook. There is a choice of pressure, a choice of temperature for "Baking" and "Frying" and "Manual" mode (from 1 to 99 minutes). It is probably better to discuss in more detail in topic 0305? Drop in. Let's discuss.
(I will buy the same SV for my mom in the summer.)
