Coconut milk and oil (multi-blender Profi Cook PC-MSM1024)

Ingredients

Coconut (net weight) 500 g
Water 1 l

Cooking method

  • Wash coconuts (I had 2 small ones). Use a sharp object (I did it with an awl) to pierce two holes from three small dark recesses, they are also called "eyes". Pour juice through them. It is better to drink juice and not use it when preparing milk, because it will shorten the shelf life of milk.
  • Then wrap the coconut in a soft cloth or towel and hit with a hammer forcefully in several places.
  • After the coconut has split open, remove the shell by separating the pulp. Do not cut off the thin brown peel, it is very rich in oil and nutrients.
  • If necessary, the pulp can be washed with water. Next, you need to cut it.
  • Place everything in a jug, grind at 2 speeds. Add water, grind again at 3-4 speeds.
  • Turn on the Medium heating for 60 minutes.
  • After cooking, cool the contents a little, beat again, squeeze through a cloth. Do not throw away the cake. It can be used in baked goods such as Coconut milk and butter (multi-blender Profi Cook PC-MSM1024) Coconut milk and butter (multi-blender Profi Cook PC-MSM1024)
  • The oil can be used for cosmetic purposes. There is a lot of information on this topic on the Internet, for example here: 🔗
  • There was nothing to choose from, so I took what was in AUCHAN, after listening to it, so that it bubbled inside. It turned out to be very decent !!! The milk turned out to be very aromatic. We drank just like that.

Mistletoe, thank you for the recipe. For 25 years now I have been passing by coconuts after a failure with them. And canned coconut milk bites at a price. Now we will deal with coconuts with Proficus. I love baked goods with coconut. So I'm waiting for the bars.
Omela
Natalia, Thank you! : rose: The bars are ready.
lungwort
We are waiting.

Mistletoe, excuse me for asking you in the recipe, I just don't even know if we have a separate topic on coconuts
I dug it out, but there was no water in it. Apparently not the most recent hit. Question. Is it edible now? Or throw it out? That's how he looks cut

Anya, if there is no water-milk, then not fresh yes. You smell it, if there is no soap smell, then use it. There is nothing harmful there, just an unpleasant smell ...

Ksyusha, and at what temperature in degrees does your miracle primer heat up?, Since you will have to heat it on the stove.
Omela
Ir, but you can not warm up !!! Toka to anyone. Pour boiling water, beat, close the lid and leave to cool completely.
irysikf
Swept, I will not heat, pour boiling water - this is just for me

I made coconut milk using a simple method - I poured boiling water over the shavings, let it stand, then ground it with an ordinary blender.
The milk turned out to be much more watery than boiled and ground in a soy cow, and the shavings were not so soft and rather large after a regular blender.
Omela
Yul, this is understandable, but if there is no unit ..
Kestrel
Omela, and heating Medium is how many degrees? And while I do not have any multi-blender, I will put the desired one on the multi-cooker. Did I understand correctly, only heating without stirring?
Well, that's it, I took a chance ... I put it on 80 g for 60 minutes.

I put it for 60 minutes at 80 gr.
Anna, did everything right.
Kestrel
Omela, and thanks again for the recipe. Now that's the only thing I do, now in a soup cooker.
Until then,

this is understandable, but if there is no unit ..
you can unsubscribe, as I did WITHOUT a specialized unit, with the help of improvised tools - a hand blender and a multicooker with a multi-cooker, or simply with the ability to set 60 - 80 degrees for any of the programs.
1) also cleaned the coconut from the shell, cut it into small pieces, added part of the water from the norm according to the recipe and simply chopped everything with an immersion blender-foot. At that time, I had the only one, by the way, still perfectly healthy Philips HR1613, that is, not so powerful and sophisticated, with a plastic "leg".
2) Grinding everything into a more or less homogeneous gruel, until the result just suits me, I added the rest of the water according to the recipe and set it to cook on a multi-cook 80 gr. in a slow cooker for 60 minutes. Then she let it cool down a little, infuse, and squeeze and filter.
All. Fine, tasty and rich milk is ready. I used it for Tom-kha, which I got hooked on then. Well, and so I drank.
