Ingredients

Tomatoes (soft, ripe) 3 Kg
Bulgarian pepper 7-9 pcs
garlic 5 teeth
granulated sugar 200 g
salt 1 tbsp. l
table vinegar (optional) 1 dessert spoon

Cooking method

  • Wash and dry vegetables.
  • Finely chop 1.5 kg of tomatoes, add 1/3 of the total volume of granulated sugar.
  • bring to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, in a saucepan for about 30 minutes over low heat.
  • Then add the peppers, cut into strips, tomatoes (finely chopped), salt, sugar, garlic (finely chopped). Cook the mixture for another 10 minutes. At the end of cooking, you can add 1 dessert spoon of vinegar.
  • Arrange in sterilized jars and roll up.
