Ingredients

Warm water 1.5 l
Beef 450 g
Peeled potatoes 250 g
Pickles 250 g
Medium carrots 1 PC.
Medium onion 1 PC.
Pearl barley (pre-soaked) 100 g (dry weight)

Cooking method

  • A stainless steel bowl is used.
  • Cut the beef into small pieces. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Finely chop the onion. Cut the cucumbers into "quarters". Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
  • Pour warm water into a bowl. Place the pieces of beef in the water. Salt a little (taking into account the fact that later cucumbers will be added to the pickle). Soup program, 10 minutes, pressure 0.7, valve closed.
  • At the end of boiling the beef, forcibly release the steam from the multicooker (carefully!), Strain the broth into a separate pan, and place the boiled pieces of beef there. Wash the bowl, wipe it dry, put it back in the multicooker, turn on the "Roasting" mode for 8 minutes.
  • When the "Roast" is boiling over, put 20 g of butter in a bowl, in which sauté onions and carrots (3 minutes), stirring constantly. Add the cucumbers and continue to fry, stirring constantly, until the end of the Roasting program (ie another 5 minutes).
  • Add pearl barley, potato cubes, beef pieces to the vegetables. Mix everything. Pour the broth into the bowl. Salt to taste. Soup program, 5 minutes, pressure 0.7, valve closed. At the end of the "Soup" program, leave it hot and wait for the valve to lower itself.

Today for lunch, my favorite pickle, I carefully studied the recipe and risked simplifying it.
At first, there were onions and carrots for frying, then I added chopped meat (beef), a little butter and rubbed cucumbers on top. Literally fry for 2-3 minutes with stirring. Then I added potatoes and cereals, poured hot water and salt. Soup mode, pressure 0.7, time 30 min. At the end, I blew off the steam, opened and added lavrushka and herbs. I let it stand for a while under the closed lid.
The meat was cooked completely, cereals and potatoes too))
