Buckwheat porridge with sausages and mushrooms (pressure cooker Polaris 0305)

Ingredients

Buckwheat 2 stacks
Water 3 stacks
Sausages 3 pcs.
Champignon 6 pcs. (115 g)
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Fine salt 1.5 tsp.
Vegetable oil 2 + 1 st. l.
1 cup = 250 ml

Cooking method

  • A delicious and satisfying dish for every day. It is easy to prepare, and, most importantly, quickly enough, since I fill the cereal with hot water.
  • As you know, for cooking porridge on the stove, the following algorithm of actions is provided:
  • - bring water to a boil,
  • - pour cereals, boil at a boil -3-5 minutes,
  • - reduce heat to medium, cook for another 5-10 minutes,
  • - cook (simmer) on the lowest heat.
  • When we cook porridge in multicooker / pressure cooker, we do not always follow this algorithm. We are in a hurry - we put the cereals in cold water and turn on the mode. For us quickly, but is it so useful?
  • It would be much more convenient if the modes for cooking porridge worked like, for example, the "Pasta / pasta" program in some MVs, where after boiling water a sound signal is heard so that the hostess can fill up the pasta.
  • In the meantime, there is no such regime for cereals, I propose to cook buckwheat in a pressure cooker according to this recipe. In it, I brought cooking as close as possible to the classical algorithm for cooking porridge.
  • More useful in my opinion.
  • Cooking.
  • 1. Rinse the champignons, peel and cut into slices. Cut the onion into quarters.
  • Sausages - in circles.
  • 2. Turn on "Frying" mode, pressure - 3.
  • Fry the mushrooms until the liquid has evaporated and lightly browned.
  • Then onions - until golden brown.
  • 3. Move the mushrooms and onions to the edge of the pan. Add the sausages, fry on one side, turn over and switch off the program. (The whole roast takes about 5 minutes.)

Note

In the book of recipes for the Polaris pressure cooker, they suggest cooking buckwheat for 25 minutes! This advice was immediately surprised. I began to experiment with pressure and time. It didn't work out well right away (unlike a multicooker).

Advice.

1. You can use frozen mushrooms. Defrost from in a pan, and add the released juice when cooking porridge.

2. When cooking any non-milk porridge, I add 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
I read about it from a nutritionist. This was explained by the fact that it is during cooking that the grains are saturated with oil and spices. After cooking, adding oil, of course, is also possible, but exclusively for taste, and not for benefit.

3. I use a faceted glass in the recipe. It is most convenient for them to fill in hot water.

Zhenya, Thank you so much for this review!
Since your child has prepared according to this recipe, then the description is available to everyone. It is very nice. Sometimes I scold myself for writing point by point, often in too much detail. But now I will know that this is not so bad. And even useful.
Please convey my special thanks to your experimenter. For determination and successful execution!
Zhenya I
Oh, you can't scold yourself! I only have a day with a pressure cooker, I'm still afraid. So I only cook according to your recipes. Everything is very accurately scheduled and that's why it works. So thanks again.
Shelena
Zhenya, you are welcome! Enjoy cooking. Everything will work out. And soon the fear will disappear, there will be confidence and understanding of the principles of cooking in this device.
Happy and delicious meals!
