Lithuanian tomato soup

Ingredients

Broth (I have pork) 1 l.
Tomatoes (I have frozen) 6 pcs.
Buckwheat 4-5 st. l
Pickles 3 pcs.
Bulb onions 2-3 medium heads
Salt, peppercorns, bay leaf taste
Sour cream and herbs for serving

Cooking method

  • Peel the tomatoes, chop with a blender in mashed potatoes. (Since my tomatoes were from the freezer, I dipped them in boiling water for a couple of seconds, the skin peeled off perfectly. Then I cut it into pieces and chopped it with a blender, diluting it with hot broth)

Galina, to your health! I'm waiting for the report. I rewrote this recipe almost a year ago, I still could not dare to cook it. But in vain! In the summer they didn't know where to put the tomatoes

probably good soup!
in Poland I saw a similar one, but there is just a tomato broth with spices (like not even meat), and noodles are added to it, or rice and that's it!
This one will be more meaningful
Elven
Irina, I also love soup, Schaub was thicker

Yes, this soup is very tasty, "cherry tomato". I just don't eat buckwheat, I replace it with rice. And I leave the meat in the broth ...

The soup is excellent, very tasty, I made it somewhat similar to kharcho.I suspect that tomorrow it will be even tastier

Instead of tomatoes - tomato paste. Chicken broth. Soup mode 40 min. It turned out sooo tasty! I will definitely repeat.
Thanks again for the recipe!

Lena, thanks for the recipe. He broke his whole head to fit the pork broth, half a can of tomatoes in its own juice and pickles. Rassolnik wanted to cook, but then the recipe caught my eye. Already cooked and screwed in a bowl. Made in cartoon Unit. Without pressure, the lid is open. Flavored with cilantro, utskho suneli and a pinch, rubbed with fingers, cumin, a little, for a subtle smell and taste, and more garlic. Delicious. I wanted rice, but then it would be ala-kharcho. Buckwheat is just super in this recipe. As a side dish, many people dislike it for its dryness. With gravy you need a thread. And here there is more than enough liquid.
I will definitely cook in the future.
Elven
Sergei, I have already salivated, as you all painted deliciously I agree, buckwheat is very useful here. Itself only recently tasted that buckwheat in soups - it turns out to be very tasty. Somehow I'll try to cook in my Brandik under pressure
