Note

In the original recipe, the meat was rolled in flour, pork fat was placed on the bottom, cubes of cut Borodino bread were added to the layers, and sour cream was added half an hour before the end.

I did without these frills, made a more dietary option.

I just have beef in the freezer.
Ol, have you tried the original recipe? And Borodino bread - is it with some additives?
MariV
Zhen, with Borodino or just rye - no, I haven't tried it.

Another time, when I specially leave rye baked and crackers, I will definitely try!
Lerele
I often make such a dish, only according to the original recipe, and I even exhibited it. It turns out very tasty

Very interesting! How does it taste with croutons? And did you put the spig on the bottom?
Gala
I also made beef with the addition of rye bread, but unlike the recipe Lerele added broth and and a couple of tablespoons of sour cream. The bread dissolved completely (it was made of flour and water, after all) and a homogeneous thick gravy was obtained. A very satisfying dish
MariV
Oh, then I will definitely not do it with bread - I myself do not really like flour sauces, and home ones do not recognize at all.
Elena Tim
How awesome, Ol! Meat with vegetables always wins. I will definitely try to cook it. Painfully your photo is "tasty"! And I'll add Borodinsky, let's see what happens!
MariV
Yes, the meat is delicious! Pets are very appreciated.

Take note, I respect beef more recently)))

So I didn't want to do that either. Well, a very flour sauce and with meat
And in this recipe, meat with vegetables is a great combination, nothing more
MariV
I, too, will gradually switch to beef in the home diet - my husband is not allowed to eat pork.
Lerele
Nothing and not flour, tasty, thick gravy. The bread is not felt at all, and the taste is not the same as if you just add flour.
I have one of my favorite recipes.
I don't put it on the skins, I reduce fats in everything.
By the way, I also add sour cream or cream.
