Milk oat porridge made from natural oats "Oatmeal, sir!" (Panasonic SR-TMH 18)

Oatmeal milk porridge from natural oats Oatmeal, sir! (Panasonic SR-TMH 18)

Ingredients

Whole oat groats (grain) 1 measuring cup
fresh milk 4 cups
salt taste
sugar 2 tbsp. l. or to taste
butter taste
dried fruits taste

Cooking method

  • Porridge was prepared from such cereals.
  • Oatmeal milk porridge from natural oats Oatmeal, sir! (Panasonic SR-TMH 18)
  • Put all products (except butter) in a multicooker pan and for 2 hours in the "Stew" mode, then on heating until morning. The whole preparation took 7.5 hours. In the morning the porridge was warm.
  • My observations:
  • You need just 4 cups of milk (or maybe more for your taste), according to the thickness of the porridge in moderation.
  • The time should probably be set not 1.5 (as they wrote earlier), but 2 hours in the "Extinguishing" mode, and then heating to bring it to condition. Next time I'll add some dried fruits, today I just forgot about them.
  • No more comments.

Note

The porridge turned out to be very tasty I recommend to everyone

And why did Nikita Mikhalkov eat this porridge with such a sour face on his face?

Bon appetit, everyone!

Yana
Admin, and where did you buy oatmeal? I've been looking for her for a long time, but there are no stores nearby.
Admin

In a small supermarket in Moscow on Bashilovskaya st.

Groats are sold in the groats and flour section. Look on the lowest shelves, there are both wheat and barley groats.
Such cereals are always put on the lowest shelves (cheap shelves), so we do not always see them. And long-playing oats can also be seen on the lower shelves.

We, too, now eat such porridge in the morning. thanks Admin

Lean whole grain oat porridge with dried fruit

Recipe:

Whole oat grain - 1 measuring cup from the multicooker
Water - 500 ml.
Salt to taste
Dried fruits - dried apricots, prunes (you can add other fruits and dried fruits)

Preparation:

Put all the products (except dried fruits) in the multicooker and turn on the Stew mode for 1.5 hours.

After 1 hour, add the washed dried fruits to the pan, and let them steam together with the cereals until the end of cooking the porridge.

It turns out a very tasty porridge with whole grains of cereals and whole soft fruits. Dried fruits gave enough sugar to the porridge, and it tasted good.

Omela
Admin, thank you for the recipe !!!!
Finally, something useful has become tasty !!
Porridge was made from whole oats, after grinding it in a coffee grinder. The proportions have changed a little, because we love "thin": 1 \ 2 hours of ground oats + 3 hours of milk. After washing, the cereal became slightly less. I laid everything, including dried apricots for the night. In total, it turned out 2 hours. quenching + 6h. heating. In the morning I added only oil! TASTY !!!!!!!
Judi
And if you make milk porridge in the mode, the taste is not at all the same?
Boo Boo
It won't cook on milk porridge.

It's not cooked on milk porridge.

: -XOh, I'm sorry, I got stuck. Just now I saw that it was porridge made from KRUPA .. And then today I was making oatmeal from flakes in a cartoon in porridge mode - it was ready, but the bottom of the burns was brown
nata351
Admin, thanks a lot for the recipe. Yesterday I bought a slow cooker and put the porridge overnight, in milk, but without dried fruits. It turned out just a great porridge. Previously, I tried to make it on the stove, soaked the cereals for several hours, but I could not get such an excellent result.

Dear Admin! : flowers: a huge thank you for this oatmeal! today she treated my aunt (80 years old) so she almost cried with pleasure - she said that oatmeal smells like her childhood! once again a huge rep!
Admin

Girls, eat for health

Porridge is useful, especially for the elderly
prascovia
And what is the minimum amount of cereals you can put in a big cartoon? And then the two of us stayed with our daughters, I'm afraid we won't master the full portion of porridge.
Cubic
Well, where can I get such oatmeal? don't sell it for some reason ..
Admin
1 cup of cereal is just enough for 2 servings of porridge. less - it will smear along the bottom of the pan.
Admin

Now it is often found in stores where pearl barley, etc. See these cereals on the lower shelves of the shelves
Cubic
I will be more attentive, thanks, I must look down too
prascovia
Thank you
And the systemic morning consumption of oatmeal (very tasty) does not accidentally turn a person into a horse?
Admin

It transforms when you need to get into your boots in the morning and jump to work - you will be full until lunchtime

Easy and satisfying

I am also now a happy owner of a multicooker
I cooked oatmeal from evening to morning, my husband is delighted!
It tasted like baked milk.
Grenata
In the evening, I put the oatmeal in the Milk Porridge mode. In the morning I found out that the whole lid and sides were covered with porridge. Whole oatmeal porridge itself was cooked, but now you have to wash the cartoon
Next time I will put on extinguishing
Sveta
Yes, indeed, the oatmeal boils very strongly and stains the multicooker. Therefore, I chose a different process for myself (since I also start with oatmeal almost every morning): in the evening I fill it with water (if you cook in water, then the full amount, if you add milk, then a little, just to cover ), and in the morning I put it on stewing, if necessary - add milk. Damp, it cooks quickly and does not get dirty!
Rezlina
Sveta, extinguish how long? you can't wipe off the lid later
I want your way to try.
Crochet
Rezlina
Lubricate the MV saucepan from the inside with butter or vegetable oil (any fat will do) in a circle, as if "drawing" a thick strip, and that's it, your porridge will remain in place. Barley used to make "shoots" for me, and after this simple trick the "shoots" stopped!
Rezlina
Krosh, to draw over porridge? as a limiter or what? do not need to lubricate everything?
Avreliy
How to cook such porridge without the Multicooker?
There is no multicooker, cereals are for sale.
Sveta
Rezlina, I soak it in the evening, put it on for 1 hour in the morning, but turn it off after 30 minutes. During this time, I stir it a couple of times and choose the appropriate degree of readiness, you can keep it longer, this is already to your taste. The lid never gets dirty when cooked like that. And delicious!

Yeah, just above the porridge (just above the liquid level), as a limiter, the formed fatty film prevents the porridge from "making legs" ...

Use the old "old-fashioned" method, boil the oatmeal in a saucepan on the stove (I used to cook it myself), and after boiling it would be nice to hold it in the oven so that the porridge sweats ... But in MV it still works better (IMHO) ...
P.S.Avreliy, if you need a recipe for oatmeal cooked by the "old-fashioned" method, I can help ...

I'll start from afar. When I was seven years old, my aunt and I went to a labor camp and there for the first time tried and fell in love with Oatmeal. I never saw and ate such porridge again. I always cooked rolled oats, but I remembered that porridge. And so I saw the Admin recipe and-URRRRAAAAA! This is the porridge of my childhood. I barely found groats in the market, only cereals in stores. Today I cooked the child for lunch, ate and praised him, but feeding him is a problem: he doesn't eat, he doesn't like that. In general, I went to say thank you.

Admin , thanks for such a delicious recipe !!!!
Girls, Thank you all for your good advice !!! Today my toon labored her first night at my house. I cooked this particular porridge ...Yummy!!!! Mine, of course, slightly turned their nose, but tasted it and nodded their heads in satisfaction !!!!
Thank you all again !!!! Now I will try lean oatmeal - I seem to be a figure on the shore ... (although you will save it here with you - you are discussing temptations and goodies !!!)

Dear Admin! Yesterday, quite by accident, I came across oatmeal in its natural form, only peeled (in the pharmacy) set on the timer. What can I say TASTY. My daughter ate hers and mine. Once again, I offer my thanks.
Admin

Both - good health from such porridge, do more and more
Milady2
Admin, thanks for the recipe! I bought this cereal and cooked porridge. It turned out delicious, but it seems to me that your porridge is more tender. I feel grains and a torn grate of milk has formed. Maybe you need to soak the grain for at least 30 minutes. and then the porridge will be more tender or add a little more milk?
Admin

Milady2, porridge, this is also a dish that we prepare based on our taste and consistency of viscosity.
It is not necessary to strictly observe my proportions and time - you can add milk, increase the cooking time and do other additional manipulations in order to get YOUR Porridge - completely satisfying to your taste!
Milady2
Thank you, I thought so, but I wanted to get advice from an experienced chef.

Now I put the porridge - a liter of milk (5.5 cups) on a cup of cereal, because I like it thinner. I put on "Quenching" for 2 hours, then I will leave it on heating until morning. My morning is at 5-30. Will my porridge run away because of a large amount of milk?
tapsberg
Thanks for the recipe! I didn't have a chance to try it myself, part of it was taken away by the mother-in-law, and the rest was eaten by my husband, he praised it very much, said that even the cold one was very tasty.
Admin

Cook for health - the porridge is really tasty!
Kuzma
Admin, thanks for the HUGE recipe! Porridge from childhood! No matter how much I tried to cook this, I never succeeded.
Admin

Kuzma, cook for good health!

In the morning already on my feet and I am at your feet! Admin, Aren't you tired of me yet? And I again with gratitude - I also disposed of the oatmeal, which was very well standing idle, and finally understood from which side to approach it in order to get your fingers closer to the result! I took two glasses of milk and three and a half water, as I like thinner. At five, I woke up and decided to check and saw that it was watery. I put it on porridge for another hour (I have Supra, there porridge and stewing is one button). In the morning I got a wonderful result! Devoured culturally ate everything cleaned with a small spoon - it slipped so that I did not notice
Admin

Eat to your health! I'll come up with an interesting porridge, an interesting recipe is on the way
steolin
Admin, I may have read it inattentively, but such a question: should oatmeal be washed before cooking or poured with boiling water, or should it be thrown dry? thanks in advance for your reply. I really want to try oatmeal porridge. and then they asked where to buy it, I ordered it in the "Platypus", I haven't seen it in stores either, although I really love the lower shelves, there are always so many interesting things ...
Admin

It is imperative to rinse the groats, like other cereals.

Since the porridge will languish for 2 hours, and then on heating for a long time, it is not worth pouring boiling water over it. Put the washed cereal in a saucepan, fill it with cold water.

Pay attention to cereals when buying, they are in a shell-shell, and sometimes peeled from the shell, it is better to buy peeled. In stores I often meet cereals.
steolin
Thank you!!
Elven
The other day I tried to cook such a porridge in Brand 6050, nothing worked. I poured a liter of milk, there was a glass of cereal (250 ml.), I first set the Milk porridge mode for 20 minutes, after the automatic release of the pressure, I opened the lid, and there the milk is baked and the cereal floats (not swollen at all) I closed the lid, set the Quenching mode for 30 minutes, after the automatic release of the pressure, I open the lid, and there is the same picture In general, I got a soup of baked milk with crispy cereals ... I'll try to cook it in water, soaking it overnight
Stafa
I cooked in Panasika for 2 hours and then from 10 pm until the morning on the heat. It was impossible to eat it. I gave it to the dog. But now I slow cook for 6-7 hours on a slow mode, pre-soaking for 4-6 hours.
Admin
As they say: the taste and color ...

Sveta, and I only use a slow cooker for jellied meat and baked milk, the only thing I take in it is porridge I can't stand food boiled into splashes I don't want to talk about porridge at all

Elven, whole oatmeal needs to be cooked for a long time; it may not work in a pressure cooker for 20-30 minutes. It’s just in a slow cooker and it’s good to cook such porridge, take longer and control the readiness. And the cereal loves to be steamed. I liked the porridge with dried fruits, then they "beat off" the specific flavor of the whole "oat, straw" grain, the grain has such a flavor
But, in general, the porridge is tasty and healthy, if it is cooked well. Whole cereals will always be separate grains, they will not completely boil over, it’s like barley, it does not completely boil down.
This week I will repeat this porridge, a glass of measured cereal is already standing, waiting in line.
Stafa
Yes, this cereal is not boiled into a splash, it is simply not realistic. But the time for multi is clearly not enough.

Well, the time in the multi can be set as much as needed. Optimally for this cereal, 2.5-4 hours on the Stew mode and the porridge will turn out to be tasty as it should.
Although, it's unrealistic to talk about tastes, everyone has their own
