sugar 1 glass
water 1 glass
honey 2 tbsp. l
rast. oil 1/2 cup
soda 2 tsp
flour 2 glasses
dried fruits, nuts

Cooking method

  • Perfect for a post :-)
  • Melt sugar in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until amber color, pour in water, bring to a homogeneous mass over the fire.
  • Remove from heat, add honey, vegetable oil, soda and flour, stir with a spoon. Add your favorite dried fruits and nuts to taste. I had dried apricots, prunes and nuts today. If you wish, you can put anything you like - apple slices, pumpkin, oranges, pumpkin seeds, etc.
  • I put the bake in the Floris Polaris multicooker for an hour. Oven in the oven at 180 ° C.
  • It turned out to be a tall, fragrant, fluffy pie. Very aromatic with a glossy top. with a glossy top.

Note

Girls, the most soulful pie! For a long time I asked Irishk @ to post the recipe, I really liked it, but ... and I'm afraid that it will get lost! but if she wants to expose it herself, I do not mind and will retire)))

Fine. You might have thought that a glass of sugar and honey would be very sweet, no. I have raisins and nuts there. True, the sugar did not turn out to brown caramelize. He quickly began to stick to the bottom and grabbed the stones. I selected all the lumps and continued.
fronya40
Toffee, my dough was originally brown, and the cake turned out to be red-red, already reddish.

I only once did not melt sugar, it was like that. and on what did you melt it?

And I was impressed. Very tasty thank you!

Girls, when I baked for the first time, my sugar was fried into black caramel (overlooked), but this did not affect the taste, it was just that the cake itself became a dark noble color. And even if the sugar in the water grasps in lumps and does not dissolve, it’s not scary, it will dissolve during baking. And the pie is really delicious, I like it from the fridge on the second day: girl_cleanglasses: Thanks again to Tanya fronya40 for your support

And I baked yesterday, could not resist. Have already been devoured. Delicious! It is also great that the pie is lean and tasty. Thank you!

Thank you! In the evening, if there is anything left for my arrival from work, I undertake to photograph. I did it in a cartoon (I have a small Panasik), reduced the proportions a little - I took multicooker glasses, and one and a half corresponding spoons of honey and soda. And I baked on baking for 65 minutes (I bake everything like that). The only additives were candied pineapple.
The cake came out tall, lush, with a distinct honey smell and brown, as if with chocolate. Delicious!
I think it will be interesting to bake it as a base for all kinds of cakes, both with jam and cream. And if you add ground gingerbread spices, an excellent gingerbread will come out.
Great recipe !!!!

About melting sugar. Once upon a time, caramel for roasted nuts was cooked at a master class. A little water was added from the very beginning. I was also afraid to melt sugar "naked" in a saucepan. And immediately, from the total amount of water according to the recipe, I added about 1-2 tablespoons to sugar. And she began to stir until the sugar began to caramelize evenly. Then, neatly (because she spits), I added the rest of the water and boiled it over low heat until the caramel was all dissolved.
Irishk @
Irochka, thanks for the pleasant feedback, and a special thank you for the master class on melting sugar, you will have to do this.

Irishk @Thank you for the recipe! Did it yesterday at night. I was already going to sleep, but everything is itching: "There is nothing for tea!" And they needed a quick recipe and one that didn't run to the store for anything. And here, in general, just something: flour, vegetable oil and sugar ... Super! The result is very pleasing
Irishk @
she herself fell for it because of the composition, so what and what and sugar with water and flour, but she herself did not expect such a stunning result. Now I also want to bake for tea.

Well, I brought a photo

With strawberries and sprinkled with powder, it looks just gorgeous. And I baked with poppy seeds.

The photo is not very good, it is dark.
Ikra
Irishk @, oh, I love poppy seeds too! I'll remember, I'll do it too.

Something I did not wake up well today, after yesterday's shift at work. And, without regaining consciousness, she put the pie in the cartoon. About half an hour later, after coffee, I remembered that I had not added oil
I was afraid to open it, I thought that nothing would work ... However, I baked quite a pretty pie! Amazing nearby - flour, water, sugar, soda ... I haven't tasted it, I'll eat late at night. I will ask my husband, if he does not get lazy without me, to take a picture of what is there in the context)))) Well, I will unsubscribe about the taste. It is even interesting, a minimum of products, but what is the result? So far, only the smell is beautiful, honey, from the gingerbread. I also put walnuts there, dried figs, candied pineapple and gingerbread spices.
Irishk @
Ira, it’s very interesting to know what happened, I look forward to your report.
Ikra
As promised, I am reporting. Here's what happened without oil:

Lean caramel honey pie from Irishk @

Oddly enough, delicious. Since I put gingerbread spices there, it looks like a gingerbread gingerbread. But ... a little harsh. I'm afraid. that without oil it will grow stale tomorrow. But for me this is not a problem)))) I love to make tiramisu out of stale gingerbread.
Conclusion: if you do not put oil, then nothing irreparable will happen. But it’s better not to do that. Because she immediately baked a second one, for my mother, and carried it to her. Since I put everything as it should, it turned out to be much tastier.

And again I baked it, I really like it (and during Lent, the magic wand is so straight, moreover). Thank you Irina !!! I do all the time in Redmond pressure cooker, with poppy seeds and cloves, and it turns out very well.

Vikusik, thanks for a pleasant review, the most pleasant thing is when the recipe takes root! Cook to your health!
