Ingredients

squid (carcasses) 6 pcs.
rice 150 g
bulb onions 2 pcs.
tomato 3 pcs.
olive oil 1/3 cup
dry white wine 0.5 cups
dill, parsley by beam
salt, pepper, sugar taste

Cooking method

  • I found an excellent unbroken recipe for stuffed squid, the family is happy, these squid can be served to guests, they will be conquered by the new taste of the most affordable seafood).
  • Wash squid carcasses thoroughly and clean from entrails and films, cut and chop the tentacles. Finely chop the onion and tomatoes. Fry half the onion in a saucepan heated with oil. Add washed rice, tentacles, 1/3 tomato, wine, salt, sugar, pepper. Pour in one glass of water and simmer until the liquid evaporates completely, stirring occasionally. Then remove the saucepan from the heat, chill the filling and add the finely chopped herbs.
  • Place the remaining onions and tomatoes in a skillet and save for 2 tbsp. l. butter over low heat.
  • Stuff the squid carcasses with rice filling, filling them only 2/3, seal the holes with toothpicks.
  • Put the squid in a saucepan, put the sauté sauce on top, simmer under the lid for 15-20 minutes.

Aleksandrushka, we tasted your squid - incredibly delicious! If time is short, you can simply cook rice and add chopped squids to it - it will also be very tasty. I also added bell peppers and carrots. It is a pity, there were no tomatoes - I replaced it with tomato paste. It's still delicious! It turns out a risotto with vegetables and squid. True, I fried the rice a little. I stewed the squid for about 7-10 minutes (the squid was almost ready) and the rice came out quite crumbly, we love it so much! ..
