Ingredients

Wheat flour 550 g
Cottage cheese 1 pack (200gr)
Warm water 270 ml
Egg 1 PC
Oil sl 20 g
Sugar 1 tablespoon
Salt 1.5 tsp
Fresh yeast 10 g
Sunflower seeds
Sesame seeds for sprinkling
1 egg for lube

Cooking method

  • We knead the dough wherever it is convenient for you.
  • I did the batch in Kenwood.
  • I added the ingredients as in HP, from the beginning water, salt, cottage cheese, egg, butter, then flour, sugar and yeast.
  • We knead until the dough is collected on a hook or into a bun. You will have to add flour during kneading. It took about 10 minutes.
  • Disconnect and leave the dough to rest for 30-40 minutes.
  • After proving, start the kneading and add the seeds. We knead for about 5 minutes and see that the dough does not stick to the bowl.
  • Turn off the combine and put the dough on the board.
  • Divide into three bundles and weave a pigtail)
  • After we braided the braid, then carefully transfer it to the braid. And cover with a towel for the last proofing. The dough rises well and quickly.
  • We look after 30 minutes, if it has increased well in volume, then grease it with an egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds and put in the oven and turn it on at 250.
  • While the oven is heating up, the dough will still grow !!!
  • We bake until golden brown) in time for 30-40 minutes. But we look, maybe everyone has different ovens)
