: elka: My husband bought such a stove as a gift for the New Year, Lyolya, I will be glad to talk to you.
Lyolya 7
weronika, as a result I bought a Supra BMS-250 so I can't help you with anything, unfortunately.
weronika
It's a pity, it turns out, I have such a bread baker alone. Well, well, I'll experiment alone.

there shouldn't be any problems with her.

Now I also bake bread in the Maxwell 3751 bread maker. Today was the first experience. Baked a baguette. My husband liked it. The crust is crispy. And I love sourdough bread. I will experiment))
Lynxy
weronika, Hello! I expect such an oven tomorrow! Have you experimented with yours? Are you satisfied? Share your secrets, maybe you need to do something special?
Lynxy
Alpha, Did you follow the recipes from the instructions for the bread maker? Are there cooking secrets? Is the measuring cup informative? Measuring with a spoon and a glass from the kit?
Lynxy
sazalexter, I mean that this model can have its own nuances. So I'm interested in those who have experienced it.
Alpha
The recipes for this bread maker are very scarce. Basically, I am guided by the indicated ratios of products: for such and such an amount of water, so much flour and other products. There are a lot of good recipes on the forum. The main thing is to start)). It is not very convenient to use a measuring cup, since the divisions are almost invisible. I use a kitchen scale.
I mainly make dough in a bread maker, bake in the oven. My homemade people prefer pies, but you can't make them in a bread maker ((But the dough is excellent, kneads well and fits (from white flour of the highest grade). I can't do this with my hands.
I love whole grain flour sourdough bread (coarse grinding) very much. This dough is quite heavy and difficult to knead. I threw the products into the bread maker, slightly corrected the recipe (a little more water), I thought that I could not cope. And she did it! The dough is good. The truth was baked in the oven (it has its own technology). I undertake to try baking whole grain bread in a bread maker. Then I will report back.
In general, I'm happy with the stove - for ridiculous money, such an assistant in the kitchen))
Lynxy
Alpha, I will try today for the first time when the bread maker is delivered !!! I'll try the main recipe from the instructions.
Lynxy
As far as I understand, this oven has no signal when to fall asleep, for example, raisins?
Alpha
Yesterday I made whole grain sourdough bread. Great bread turned out. I like that the bread maker has a separate "Kneading" mode, a separate "Dough" and a separate "Baking". In the morning I kneaded in a bread maker (15 minutes), after half an hour I switched on the "dough" program (kneading and proofing there, only 1.5 hours), then left for the whole day, returned in the evening and switched on the "Baking" program (1 hour). And then she let the bread cool without opening the lid. I liked the bread very much !!

Snezhaa
So the girls do not get lost and talk about their victories and failures in detail! Today I ordered the same stove for myself.Tell me she kneads the dough loudly and how strong is the squeak signal? And another question does it turn itself off or should it be turned off? and the Start / Stop button turns off the power or do you need to pull out the cord every time?

Thanks in advance for those who responded .....
Alpha
When the stove is kneading in the kitchen, I can't hear it in the room. The signal is quite loud. The Stop / Start button must be pressed and held. Then it will shut down.
Snezhaa
That. that you can't hear her in the room - it pleases. Alpha, then please tell me about this Stop / Start button, can you turn off the signal in advance by putting the dough overnight, or does it just turn off after the fact when it beeps so that it does not beep for a long time?
Alpha
Can not help. The instructions do not say anything about this. At night I do not put ((
Lynxy
Girls, the instructions say:
"- To cancel heating, press and hold the" START / STOP "button (13).
beep, the operation indicator (15) goes out, after a while the display (2) goes out. "
- Unplug the power cord from the outlet.

I waited about 10 minutes - the display did not go out. How are you?
Snezhaa
I'm still waiting for mine. On Friday-Saturday should have arrived. While looking at recipes for other stoves.

URAAAA !!!! My stove has arrived. Kneaded a cake, it's worth baking. Let's see what happens at the exit, because the stove has one heating element at the bottom and that's it ... I'll sign off tomorrow.

You kneaded a cupcake, not bread? What is the recipe?
Snezhaa
Yes, the first batch was a cupcake, at the request of the family. It turned out well. The next day I baked bread, it also turned out delicious, but during the proofing, already during baking, the roof tore from the side around the perimeter. In the evening I will write a recipe and try to upload a photo again (it doesn't work out,)
Snezhaa
Well, I'm trying to insert a photo of a cupcake, while without a prescription, because I'm not sure if everything will turn out right away with pictures.

Cupcake recipe (maybe someone will come in handy)
Ingredients:
4 eggs
190gr. Sahara
180gr. margarine (I took a spread) melt
2h l. baking powder
250g. sifted flour
30g. potato starch
1 st. spoon vanilla sugar
60g raisins (you can have more)
zest of half a lemon (gives a specific pleasant taste to an amateur)

Beat eggs with sugar and poured into a bowl of HP, followed by margarine, lemon zest and flour with baking powder. I switched on the KEKS mode, the dough kneading began. On the call, I added raisins, rolled in flour and pre-soaked in boiling water for 10 minutes. The rest was done by HP.
The dough turned out to be silky visually and in consistency is not very liquid, almost like for pancakes.
At the end of baking, I added 10 minutes on the bake program as the top was pale. I don't think it is necessary to do this because the sides are very fried. On the KEKS program, everything should be baked.
Lynxy
What a pretty cupcake! The bread was baked, judging by the size of 750? I immediately did 900. Here he is

Snezhaa
Yes, the display is constantly on when the HP is off - for 1 program. And your bread is very beautiful. In my finished form, the roll weighed 630g. Baked for 750g. And please give me a proportion of 900g. I'm afraid to experiment myself, because the dough can come out of the bucket.
Lynxy
I made according to the recipe from the instructions for 900 grams. Basic mode. The weight came out about 850 grams.

Water - 330 ml (ml)
Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons
Salt - 1.5 teaspoon
Sugar - 3 tablespoons
Flour - 3.5 measuring cups (sup)
Dry yeast - 1¼ teaspoon
Lynxy
Who tried to make yogurt in it? In what proportions did you make the sourdough / milk, how long did it cook, and what was the result?
Max.
Girls, hello, my name is Natalya, it is very interesting to read recipes and reviews. Please tell me if the lid of the Maxwell bread maker should snap into place or just lower the lid and that's it?
Max.
Great site. I bought this bread maker a few days ago, tried the bread on the basic mode, only instead of water I poured whey, I made cottage cheese, there was whey left. I liked the bread.

There is a recipe in the instructions, although they themselves have not tried it yet.

Girls, MAXWELL MW 3751 has a gap on the side between the lid and the body (you can see it in the photo)
behind it is almost 5 mm.
Is this normal or a marriage? Someone like?

Good day to all! I gave my mother such a bread maker, she said that she did not have such a sound signal to add additional ingredients. The instructions do not say anything about this. Is this our car with a marriage or is it like that? If so, when is it best to add raisins or nuts, as most recipes have many different additives.
UmpaLumpa
Well, my choice fell on this bread maker. Ordered, they are taking it. I can’t wait, but for now I’m picking up a recipe and reading tips for beginners. I reviewed a dozen budget options, this one was the very first, but for some reason sunk into the soul. Amazing business, purely intuitive. It is a pity that there are not enough HP owners and there are few reviews ... I will try to report on the first results.
This HP will be the first, so I wanted a budgetary one, after all, it's not a fact that baking in our family will take root ... The mother-in-law's expensive Panasonic has been gathering dust for the second year, they use it once every six months, it's a shame for the stove.
I just don’t understand what kind of flour is better for baking? I read the tips, but still there was an internal understatement))). My friend assures that nothing good comes out of the highest grade, they say, you need to take 1 or even 2. And always live yeast. But here are many recipes where flour is indicated in. from. and dry yeast saf-moment ... And the breads are all handsome. Voti vague doubts torment me ...
lygui75
I only bake with dry yeast, however, I buy special ones for bread makers, they are simply ground more finely, that's the whole difference. I also use flour of different varieties, including the highest, it turns out excellent bread. It all depends on the recipe and your desire.

Maybe you can share your experience when you bake, do you have a sound signal when you can add different additives to bread, like in other bread makers?
UmpaLumpa
Thank you for your answer, then I will experiment with different flours that I can find) I will definitely write to you about the signal as the stove will come to me.
UmpaLumpa
lygui75, the stove came to me, I'm baking my first bread at the moment. I share information:
Until an hour passed, I set the basic mode (900 g, light crust, time 3 hours). Since then, there was the first batch (10 minutes), proofing (20 minutes), the second batch (about 16-17 minutes) and the proofing began again. So, during this time there were no signals, which means that there will be no more. In the second batch, I threw in a pinch of Provencal herbs, like everything got mixed up. Let's see what happens. So there is no signal.

I can also add about the bakery itself, if suddenly it is useful to someone. The set includes a cup, I got 244 ml of water under the knife (I measured it on the scales), we will assume that 240) Measuring double-sided spoon (tea and table in one bottle, plastic) and a hook for removing the stirring knife. The instruction is poor, there are almost no recipes in it. So I remember a beautiful instruction with recipes was attached to my multicooker ... There, of course, all the ingredients were mixed up, but the quality of the printing was excellent)) It's a pity that Maxwell did not splurge on a useless, but beautiful little book. It would still be nice. And so - two pages in the instructions, in small print, without pictures. Apparently, manufacturers immediately want customers not to suffer and go to this site to choose the right recipe)))

About modes: The main one is 3 hours (for 900), French - for 3.5 hours (for 900). There is a curious program Sandwich - for making light bread with a thin soft crust (3 hours), pastries - 2.55, cake 2.50 min, gluten-free 3.30. Separately, the dough with proofing, no baking (1.30) and just kneading (15 minutes), as well as the Baking mode (no kneading, 1 hour). All numbers for 900 gr. weight.
Brews jam (1.20 minutes), claims to be a yogurt maker (8 hours) and has several useless modes of fast, super-fast and super-fast bread. Oh yes, she also makes whole grain bread separately, I completely forgot about it. 3 hours 40 minutes.

The bucket has a very thin handle, but it doesn't scare me yet. Let's see what will happen next))
UmpaLumpa
So, it seems like I was wrong about the signal. Now I was baking the second bread (750 g, medium crust, main mode), and after the first batch and at the end of the first proofing there were several loud signals. They probably announced the beginning of the second batch and the opportunity to throw extra. ingredients) Something like that. I don’t understand how I didn’t hear for the first time)) Really very loud.
And the first bread, by the way, came out great. It turned out smooth, tasty and high, I will definitely post a photo soon.
UmpaLumpa
In total, I have already baked 4 bread. The stove pleases! At the beginning of the second batch, he squeaks diligently, you can hear it even in the bathroom through the water.
Baked already "Delicious white bread" from Omela https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=146019.60 and "Italian bread" by Admin (three times) https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=61157.0.html ... The first one rose very nicely, but was a bit thick (kefir was thick, I think, because of this). But very tasty, I advise everyone, with a slight sourness). The second bread is generally above all praise, mine now demand it every day. Shatters in a day (750 g).
I strongly advise everyone of these two recipes, they have been tested personally in this HP, in exact accordance with the recipe - it turns out super. Despite the fact that the authors have different HP (and hence another "Basic" mode - in Bork about 3.20 minutes, in Hitachi 3.50 minutes, and Maxwell has only 3 hours), this is enough for delicious bread.
In Italian, I made supplements three times:
1. Green olives and Oregano herb.
2. Green olives and fried onions.
3. Fresh green onions, parsley and a clove of garlic (chopped).
All three times - very tasty, most of all I liked with onions and olives (second), sweetish, very distinctive.
The third time I baked for a test in the "French" mode (3.50 min.), Rose very high, inside a delicate porous, airy. The crust is not very crispy though. The husband said: "It looks like cotton candy with onions"))) Nevertheless, in the main mode we liked it better, because everyone loves bread denser ("so that you can spread butter"). These are the experiments we have. And I can't take a beautiful picture, because I do it all the time at night, it's dark. And in the morning already half a loaf remains))
UmpaLumpa
I continue to share news about HP (I sincerely hope that it will be useful to someone).
- So far, I absolutely do not like the "Sweet baking" mode. The first time I baked a butter cake in it, the second - a delicious cake from Elena Bo. I followed the recipe, but both times the dough did not rise by the time of baking. The first time I didn't do anything, and the cake came out unbaked and heavy. The second one just turned off the program. She let it stand for forty minutes. I came - the dough was right at the top of the bucket. That is, for baking, you need more proofing time, and not 2h50 minutes for the entire program with baking together. I will try to bake on whole grain, it takes longer. Strangely enough, this time is enough for bread, but not for cake)) Probably butter, milk and additives make the climb heavier.
This is not a minus, but rather a flaw. You have to adapt to everything, especially to technology. In general, the stove makes me happy, the cake turned out to be delicious in the end.
What else is confusing about the stove:
- Display without backlight. At first I thought that I would get used to it, but sometimes I have to look closely at what is written there. I often bake in the evening, that's why there are problems.
- The kneading paddle stays in the bucket and not in the bread. Apparently sticks. I soak it every time, but I'm used to it.
- On the French bread mode, I expected to see a crisp crust, but this did not happen. Although the bread itself was puffier than on the main one, and rose higher.
- I can't say if it mixes everywhere, because my patience is not enough and I always help with a spatula in one of the corners. Maybe she would have done it herself.

Hello everyone! I bought this bread machine today. Before that, Tefal dual lived in our family for 3 years. Well, for comparison: Maxwell works quieter, you can hardly hear it from the room, the sound signal is less and quieter, the loaf, though less, we had for 1200. Bread was baked 900 g, 1 program, dark crust. Nice bread turned out. In Tefale, I had a similar recipe, but, there is much less sugar, here 3 tbsp. l. (the bread is sweetish, more suitable for tea), vegetable oil, here 3 tbsp. l., and there was only 1 spoon, and now the flour puzzled me. I use a Macfoy w / s, so 3.5 measuring glasses turned out to be not enough for me, the bun did not come out. I had to add flour 1 and 1/4 cup, a total of 4.75 measuring cups, that is, 560 g. Now I am baking the second bread, I have reduced the vegetable a little to 1 tbsp. l., and reduced the sugar to 3 tsp. Tomorrow I'll try what happens. In general, the attitude towards the stove is very good. Hope it will last a long time. Tefal cost 7000, and worked for 3 years (she is a worker, but every year you have to change the bucket, which at the moment costs 1800 rubles. Disgrace), and this one costs 2000.

Hello everyone! Who made the butter bread? Write a recipe, please! Not from the instructions.
UmpaLumpa
Good evening! And I did not look into the instructions, I immediately began to take recipes from this site, and almost everything turns out well. From butter or almost butter baked:
Butter bun by kava https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=5100.0
Butter cake "Kugelhof" from Krosh https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=2254.0
Butter cake from Elena Bo https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&Itemid=99999999&topic=3502.0
Kulich is delicious from Elena Bo https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=30848.0

There, in the comments to each there are interesting variations on the topic. I liked everything, only the Kugelhof did not quite rise. As I already wrote above, I do all this on the "Bread Pastry" program, but an hour before the end of the program I turn off the HP and let the dough come up. I don't have enough time. But after 40 minutes, all the cakes are higher than the bucket (they baked reduced versions by 750 grams). If the cake is not covered with icing, then it turns out a very tasty sweet aromatic butter bread with a hint of cake.
For example:
Recalculation for a smaller size from Andreevna.
Quote: Andreevna on Feb 07. 2008, 13:24
Yeast -1.2 tsp
Flour - 300g
Salt - 0.3 tsp
Sugar - 4 tbsp. l.
Vanilla sugar - 0.5 pack
4 tbsp. l. vegetable oil (refined)
Eggs - 2 pcs.
Milk - about 60ml
Generally eggs + milk = 160ml. The gingerbread man was wrong, sticky. More details: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=30848.0

Sugar can be added to lovers, because it turns out not very sweet.
UmpaLumpa
She quoted the recipe, but forgot the additives))
On a signal (6-7 short beeps), put a small apple cut into cubes (or half a large one) and a handful of raisins into it. I also added dried apricots and prunes. I took the yeast Saf-moment for baking (they need to be dissolved in a liquid 38 degrees), but you can also use the usual high-speed ones (then add them on top of the flour).
