So who (or what) is in the way if there are peas at home?

I love pea porridge, something I haven't cooked for a long time, thanks for reminding me.

Oh! Tanya! That's how I love it with cracklings and fried onions!
I've already cooked the peas, I'll soak them before going to bed

Tanya, thanks for the reminder, already cooked in a pressure cooker, without a lock. In the morning I will have porridge. But with cracklings it’s interesting, but I don’t know what I’ll eat it with tomorrow, the morning is wiser than the evening. Since kindergarten, I have only heard about pea soup, but I first read about the existence of porridge here, a year ago, there was a discovery, like this. Thanks for your option, someday I will try this about greaves with onions.

Vikus, pea porridge with onions and onions is the most delicious (for me). Can't be compared to butter or anything else.
Gaby
I persuaded, then I will try with cracklings, definitely.
natushka
Thanks for the recipe. I'll try in MV now, for some reason my peas do not boil into porridge, at least cook for 5 hours

Cook for another 30 minutes, Salo got up late and the onions have already popped off, from day to day I will start frying Smell throughout the hut Only during the time I managed to open the lid, the foam did not want to rise. It happened after 15 minutes of cooking, I opened the lid to look - the foam settled on its own and did not rise any more.
Gaby, I found out about pea porridge too late. The first time I tried it at 25 years old in practice in the d / garden, almost then I did not lick the plates for all the children, only there were no cracklings.

Duster-duster. Two hours was not enough for my peas; after another hour it was cooked. I'm sitting - wrapping myself in delicious porridge
Tanya! Thank you!

This is such a good deal "armor-piercing". I usually buy 1 pack and if it boils down quickly, then I also go to buy exactly the same one. And then, as a rule, also comes across indigestible.

Yeah ... there is such a thing. The foam rises. And I'm afraid that it will go over the top. And I start to collect it by running. Although I understand that it is not necessary, that there is protein in it.

I almost licked the plates behind all the children, only there were no cracklings.

I imagine ...

Two hours was not enough for my peas; after another hour it was cooked.

And mine was completely boiled down in 2 hours. But I turned it on for another 3 hour and removed the valve, because I poured too much liquid.

The fact that peas are cooked for a long time and not cooked can be the fault of the water. My mother lives in the village and now she has such water in the well that it is impossible to cook peas, so she goes to a neighbor a hundred meters away and takes water from her, then everything works out.

So my water is the same. But peas are different.

How much I have already bought it, I will probably have to feed the whole to the birds. Yesterday I bought it - again it does not boil (I did not like it with soda). I can't eat porridge for 2 years
Melanyushka
I also soaked the peas, after dinner I'll put them on to cook, In our family they called such porridge peas, my mother added butter there, oh, and this dish is delicious. Only now, too, with cracklings and onions I have never done. Today I will definitely try, thanks for the recipe.

Tanya class !!!!!!!! Very tasty and beautiful ... and cracklings ...: swoon: I also love this very much and do it. The main thing is that the peas do not stand out. Ah, I was once advised to boil peas and sprinkle with sugar, make sweet porridge. I was very surprised, but I cooked it. Also very tasty !!!!!!

Cool ... sweet pea porridge. NO, I won't do that. To me, it's like oranges with mayonnaise.

By the way, Chinese cabbage + orange + mayonnaise = delicious salad.

Maybe) But I'm an adherent of classic salad options.

Svetlana, so no matter what the cartoon is called, the main thing is "extinguishing".
In my original version, the name of the topic was without a name multi. And the moderators themselves have already added.

Well, it is clear that the porridge is delicious. But how beautiful, Tanya! I took a picture so deliciously, I accidentally bumped into it, so I almost fell under the table. Pay attention to what time it is, Tanya! Everyone is asleep, and I am suffering

Hello girls! Yesterday I put pea puree overnight (stewing, 2 hours). In the morning I got up, opened the lid, and there was not puree in appearance, but porridge (peas in neat halves).I decided that he hadn't boiled, added a little more water and put it on to stew. Stirred before closing the lid, and lo and behold: the peas turned into mashed potatoes, which once again proves that you need to cook, following the advice (you had to stir every half hour, but I went to bed). As a result, I am very pleased with the result, at work they diminished mashed potatoes in one sitting!
One point: so that the peas do not foam, I installed a hinged double boiler (as a limiter that does not allow milk to escape). During cooking, the peas boiled, but they did not escape through the valve, only they got a little dirty on the double boiler.
Thanks for the recipe!

LinenYeah ... that's how those people sleep who do not like pea porridge or have already cooked and ate it. And you admire everything.

Yeah, he's so ... these peas. He always makes a fool of me too. Well, that's it, I think I bought some bad peas. There with a spatula, and there is porridge.

I usually remove the foam with a slotted spoon before leaving it alone to extinguish the CF. I missed a couple of times - later I opened the lid, so the foam boiled over and nothing ran out.

I'm glad I liked the recipe)
