Apple strudel

Ingredients

Puff pastry:
flour 2 tbsp.
cream margarine 200 BC
sour cream 15% 200 BC
Filling:
jam apricot 150 g
prunes 5-6 pcs.
dried apricots 5-6 pcs.
raisins 2 tbsp. l.
shelled walnuts 3 tbsp. l.
apples 3 pcs.

Cooking method

  • Pour flour on a flat surface, cut the chilled margarine with a knife, put on flour (you can grate it on a coarse grater), pour sour cream on top. Chop with a knife until you get a homogeneous crumb. Then carefully combine this crumb into one lump, but do not squeeze, put it in a bowl, cover with a napkin and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Dried apricots, prunes, nuts and raisins mince.
  • Roll out the dough thinly, grease with jam, evenly distribute the mass of dried fruits and nuts, spread the apples cut into pieces on top. Wrap the roll (I divide it into two rolls) and bake in the oven for 45 minutes. at 180 degrees.
  • Apple strudel

My grandmother taught me this method of making puff pastry 30 years ago. With him I make all the puff pastries. You can keep the finished dough in the refrigerator for several days.
You can take any jam, instead of walnuts - almonds. I tried to take butter instead of margarine - it turns out too greasy.
