Delicious.
but I have a question: why spoil the heavy cream with milk?
can't you beat 10% with icing sugar?

I don’t know, maybe 10 percent will not beat, so to be honest, you puzzled me though, I have to try, the toad chokes me to buy heavy cream at 130 re per half liter
Regina V.
And suffocates me. To increase the fat content, you can add a piece of butter.

In general, I try to make ice cream according to recipes where you don't need to heat cream. Because I don't buy cream, but I do it myself, so it comes out 3 times cheaper for the money

Girls, I was once a consultant in Tupper. Our manager did not recommend us to use powdered milk in recipes, referring to the explanations of his chemist friend. Very chemically aggressive milk powder preparation technology. I did not check this information on the Internet, but I began to be wary of using powdered milk.
Elven
Lydia, thanks for the recommendation. I generally don't add milk powder anywhere, replace it with regular milk or skip it altogether. I don’t know if your manager’s words are true or not, I just don’t like the taste of this milk.
Lilida
Likewise. I am very sensitive to milk powder. I don’t like milk powder ice cream.

Why cook the cream? You can make the custard only in milk, chill, whip the cream and combine with the cream.
Elven
Natasha, you do not need to cook. But this will be a completely different recipe.
