I want to share my sadness. My dear cuckoo is only 2 years old. She worked regularly, made the whole family happy. And now, having worked only 2 years, she began to junk.

1. She suddenly stopped letting off steam at the end of the program. That is, it notifies aloud that steam has begun to be released. But no release occurs until I myself use a wooden spoon to push back the soft steam release valve. In short, while I hold it with a spoon, steam comes out. One has only to remove the spoon - the valve rises evenly and the steam stops flowing.

It would also be okay, but further - more.

2. The stew program. Stewed the meat. In theory, before opening the cuckoo, it must release steam. And the pair is not (even if you manually move the valve). That is, it turns out that during the entire cooking time, all the steam constantly (and not gently, as always) went outside. In such a way that I stewed meat in a cuckoo, that I would stew it on the stove - there is no difference.

3. On the program "chicken broth" the same garbage with steam, only a little differently. While the broth is being cooked, the steam does not come out "softly", as it should be, but in full swing into the atmosphere. As a result, half of the broth boils away in the process and at the exit we get good if there is half a pan of broth, or even less.

4. The "Heating" program unexpectedly increased the temperature of this very heating (by the way, no one knows what it should have been originally?). I used to put warm milk fermented with sour cream for heating for 30 minutes in a cuckoo, so that later I would get a wonderful fermented baked milk according to the recipe stars... For two years I enjoyed fermented baked milk and kefir fermented in a cuckoo. Suddenly, they stopped working. Milk is the same, sour cream is the same. I began to look for the reason and found that the heating temperature increased and now my milk in the same 30 minutes. it is heated to very hot, which naturally interferes with the fermentation process.

Girls, I'm crying.
Well I gave 21 thousand for her !!! Is it chezh, was it enough for only 2 years? She only has a one-year warranty. It turns out either again, put out 20 thousand for a new one, or you need to repair it for money.

My question is: has anyone repaired cuckoos for money? Is it expensive? And is there any point in such a repair? And finally, where were my eyes? How could you give 20 thousand if the guarantee is only a year? In my opinion, for that kind of money there should be at least 3 years a guarantee.

sazalexter, thank you very much. I honestly searched for this topic, but (apparently because of all my worries and experiences) I did not notice it, so I created my own.

It turns out that I am not the only one with such a problem. I thought I was the only one so unhappy.

I also want to note that manufacturers should attend to more competent instructions. Many things that I learned about from the topic you gave are not indicated in the instructions at all.

For example:
- that liquid dishes should be cooked at a temperature not exceeding 100 degrees.
- that steam cleaning should be done very often.
- that the temperature regime of 120 degrees should be used as rarely as possible.

and so on, and so on. I have not read the whole topic yet. This is definitely not in my instructions, I have already learned it almost by heart.

And here's another question: how much water do you need to pour into the pot for the steam cleaning mode? I poured 2 liters. Is it a lot or a little?

Valeria + Up to mark 2, according to the instructions

Sorry for getting in (I don't have this model), you can ask why - should you use the temperature mode of 120 degrees as rarely as possible?

Up to mark 2, according to the instructions
Yeah, so I still poured too much water, because I poured right up to mark 2 l... Now I started steam cleaning for the second time. This time the water was poured correctly. Sorry for the stupidity.

I searched all my instructions now and understood why I had not seen it earlier. I was searching for large-written headline "steam cleaning" (as it says on the display), and in the instructions it is small, so at the very bottom it says "steam cleaning method". I apologize again.

This explanation was given to numerous questions about the appearance of a crack on the plastic, near the steam release valve. By the way, I also have such a crack. In my opinion, this is just an excuse. Since if the manufacturer declares a cooking temperature of 120 degrees, then the safety margin for this temperature should be provided.
Sandy
Well, yes, if there is a temperature of 120, then the device should work well with it, and if not, then the point is from this temperature if it cannot be used ... as I understand it
