Samsa Lazy

Ingredients

Flour 0.5KG
Margarine 200g
Kefir 1 glass
Egg 1 PC.
Vinegar 9% 0.5 tbsp. l.
Soda 0.5 tbsp. l.
Salt 0.5 tbsp. l.
For filling:
Minced meat (pork + beef) 0.5KG
Onion 250 g
Salt pepper taste

Cooking method

  • I used to bake samsa as usual, in the form of envelopes, and then decided to try a simplified version, in the form of small buns. I liked it that way. Maybe someone will come in handy ...
  • Scroll the meat through a meat grinder, finely chop the onion.
  • Grate chilled margarine, mix with sifted flour. Beat kefir with eggs, add flour and margarine. Add baking soda with vinegar and salt last. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Divide the dough into balls the size of small apples. Roll each ball into a thin circle-shaped cake. Put the minced meat in the middle of each flatbread, connect in the middle and pinch the edges, turn over and flatten a little. Put the finished "buns" on a greased baking sheet, grease them with whipped yolks and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven over medium heat for 35-40 minutes.

  • Bon Appetit!

Wonderful recipe - bookmark! And if you use a baking powder, how much should you take? My body will not accept soda ..

kirch, Thank you! Yeah, I'm a night dweller! But then I'll sleep until lunchtime ...

kuzea, instead of soda, take 2 tsp. baking powder.

SanechkaA, Well, yes, I also liked the buns more and prettier and faster. My daughter checked it out, she also said now just to do it.

CheBuRashGO, I will be glad if you like it!

Natusik, thanks for reminding this recipe!

I apologize for interfering with my charter in a strange monastery, so to speak, but still. I just tried it traditionally and strictly, like in this recipe. So, you can safely take 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of salt for this amount of flour.

Where is the photo? But for me, you don't need to reduce anything, the dough is tasty, unsalted and non-acidic ... Well, there are no comrades in taste and color!
Have I duplicated someone's recipe? I did not find any similar, I was looking for it on purpose ...

No, no, I didn't duplicate it. I just know this recipe. It is from the Uzbek cuisine, it is called samsa "Lazzat", this is the amount of soda and vinegar that I am talking about. I agree that there are no comrades for taste and color, this is about salt, but if 1/4 teaspoon of soda does the job (loosen it up), why add 0.5 tablespoon? No photo, I didn't

I tried it, it turned out very tasty, thanks for the recipe, but I have a question about the dough, beautiful buns did not work out, the dough was very soft and I flattened it with my fingers, when baking it did not work out an even ruddy color, smeared it with yolk. What is the consistency of the dough? Do I still need to mix flour in it? Thank you
Natusik
Irina. A, Irisha, I also made cakes with my hands. The dough should turn out like soft plasticine. Maybe the oven bakes wrong? It is strange that not ruddy buns turned out. Or maybe it's about flour. Flour is also different. At what level did you bake? I baked on average.
Irina.A
Then the dough turned out right for me, hurray, just like soft plasticine, baked at the upper level, since the oven started to play something naughty, well, okay, that they are not ruddy, the main thing is that they are tasty, I just thought that it was not something did something. I baked samsa for the first time, so I began to doubt. Thanks again for the recipe
Natusik
Irina. A, Irisha, probably it's all about the oven ... Well, it turned out deliciously and that's good!
