A la risotto with porcini mushrooms and barley in a multicooker Redmond 90

Ingredients

pearl barley 1mst
White mushrooms 200-300 gr
medium onion 1 PC.
medium carrot 1 PC.
cheese ~ 30 g
cream 20% 3/4 mst
salt
pepper
parsley
kefir for soaking barley 4 mst
hot water 3 mst

Cooking method

  • Rinse the barley well and soak it in kefir overnight, or for a longer time. I soaked it late at night and cooked it in the evening the next day.
  • Set the frying program. Pour oil into a saucepan. Chop the onion finely and start frying, add the chopped carrots, then the coarsely chopped porcini mushrooms. Fry everything together. Rinse the barley well and add to the vegetables. Switch off the cooking program. Pour in 3 mst of hot water, add pepper, salt, and turn on the pilaf program for 1 hour. Pour in the cream 20 minutes before the end of the program. After the beep, add the chopped parsley and grated cheese, stir and let stand for a while on the heat.

Note

During the operation of the Pilaf program, it is advisable to look into the CF and control the process, you may have to add a little water.

An interesting recipe, thanks, I'll throw it in the bookmarks. With white, of course, super, but probably with mushrooms it will do at worst.

Girls, try it. Barley is very tasty after soaking in kefir. She acquires tenderness and pleasant sourness, which, in my opinion, is very appropriate here.

Oh, not with truffles so with whites! Our answer to the French and Italians. It should be interesting. And the barley was ready in how many minutes? Soaking in kefir should shorten the cooking time.

The program ran for an hour. I tried it in the process, the barley was ready before, but I wanted it to be of a more delicate constitution. If you like the degree of readiness al dente, you can turn off the program earlier.
