Banana crunches

Ingredients

flour 1 cup (230 ml)
banana 1 PC.
sugar 2 tbsp. l.
butter 1 tbsp. l.
powdered sugar and cinnamon for sprinkling
vegetable oil for frying

Cooking method

  • 1. Grind banana with sugar into a homogeneous mass.
  • 2. Add butter, flour and knead the dough.
  • 3. Let the dough stand for 1 hour (according to my observations, it is not necessary to put it in the refrigerator)
  • Banana crunches
  • 4. Next, roll out the dough quite thinly and cut into squares. It is better to prepare and cut the whole dough at once, and then start frying. Products are baked very quickly.
  • Banana crunches
  • 5. Heat the oil and carefully lower our crunches on both sides. They fry very quickly, during baking they inflate with pillows, which children really like.
  • Banana crunches
  • 6. Put the finished products on a plate and sprinkle with icing sugar. Cinnamon optional.
  • Banana crunches
  • Very quick and easy to cook, eaten with lightning speed, like seeds. I recommend to lovers of brushwood, donuts and other baked goods in oil!

Note

I want to share an easy recipe for banana crunches. I saw him a long time ago, but all hands did not reach. And here on the farm was a couple of overripe bananas. So I tested the recipe. The author Dostarkhan these products are called "Banana Cookies" and they contain ground cardamom (I did without it). It is difficult to call such baked goods cookies, but this does not change the taste and ease of preparation. So a big THANKS to the author!
The number of products in the recipe is small, but due to the thin rolling and medium-sized cutting, there are a lot of crunches, besides, they still swell

We tried it, try it too!

Very interesting. : nyam: I will do it for children too. I'll also add cardamom (I add it almost everywhere along with nutmeg). Thank you!
I have very ripe apricots. Maybe you can try with them.

chaki2005 , I will wait for your impressions. Especially with regard to cardamom. And I think it will work out with apricot, only the aroma and taste of fruit are unlikely to be. In the original recipe, the banana is felt, at least my son definitely felt it there.
