Tandoori chicken in a multicooker Panasonic SR-TMH 18

Ingredients

Chicken or small chicken 1 PC.
Bulbs 2 pcs.
Kefir or natural yogurt 250 g
Juice of 1 lime
or half a lemon
Tomatoes
or a can of tomatoes in their own juice
3-4 pcs.
Greens (dill, cilantro)
Olive oil 1 tbsp. l.
Dry spices:
or a bag of spices
Garlic, salt

Cooking method

  • Cut the chicken into 6 pieces. Skin can be removed if there is a dietary preference.
  • Cut the onion into half rings, mix the marinade from kefir, lemon juice and spices and pour over the chicken and onion. Leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Then remove the chicken from the marinade, fry in a slow cooker in baking mode on 2 sides for several minutes over high heat in olive oil, add the remaining marinade with onions and chopped peeled tomatoes, continue cooking in baking mode for 40 minutes or in simmering mode 1 - 1 , 5 hours. Add fresh herbs 5 minutes before the end.

I have a Chicory chicken seasoning, which includes: sweet red pepper, turmeric, coriander, cumin, ground black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and a whole bunch of other things, I'll try with this seasoning.

Frying in a multi means in baking mode, how to warm it up with olive oil so that it has the effect of a hot frying pan. I didn't put all the pieces at once, but in 2 steps - I fried 3 pieces on 2 sides, took out, put the next three, fried, returned the first portion and added the marinade with tomatoes.
You can also fry in a frying pan - but it seems to me that this is an extra mess
According to the classics, this chicken is served with crumbly rice. It can be with jasmine or a mixture of white and wild.
