Well, here ... it means that it was not in vain that I made such demands on the slow cooker. There are two conclusions - either my model is unsuccessful, or a duck from the "hound" breed came across (I am silent about the option about both left hands).
Boom to try further.
thanks for your feedback.

And what is your chicken in the first photo strewn with? How is the mixture some kind of dry coarse?
Kalmykova
Zest, how can you? It's just a running duck, definitely!

gyy .. this cabbage lying around is windy and little things .. there it is, this cabbage on the last photo .. very much even I ate it later with beef. I have one side dish in the chicken, the second around the chicken

For the New Year, I made turkey breast in a slow cooker, did not pour water, the result was excellent. The breast was pre-marinated for 2 days in spices and mustard-mayonnaise sauce.

Gyyy, now I'm lying next to your cabbage I would never have guessed, even under pain of death
Kalmykova
Oh, and we had a turkey! I had to cut it into pieces (dismemberment), otherwise I didn't fit into the slow cooker. Marinated for 2 days, then smeared with homemade mayonnaise (it was possible not to smear it) with seasonings. Delicious !

Well, the enthusiasm in me with each new post arrives And then it's already a good place on the mezzanine for the device to look after the beginning
Even if the turkey breast was cooked without a drop of water, then I definitely met the wrong duck

and where I was.
One of the first to bring the slow cooker to the forum and the ducks on her shoulders about 10
and there was one goose

I have never added water to ducks. Just a strong mode for 4 hours, no more.
And the goat's legs are entirely about 5, also without water.
What's the mystery?

I have more doubts Aerogril caused anger and controversy.

I have an airfryer a cheap model, and a Kenwood slow cooker.
Maybe it depends on the technique?

And it will be like from a saucepan on the stove, no difference.
I cook beef ribs - the most delicious broth turns out, I put it for 10 hours overnight. I have no modes, so I think it's middle, then I leave it unheated in a saucepan until evening. In the broth, whole onions, parsnips, large carrots + parsley, whole twigs / halves), allspice (preferably a mixture of 5 peppers), peas and no salt. After boiling, catch all this and throw it away, add the broth accrue, cut the meat off the bones. I immediately put some of the broth on the soup, pour the rest into containers and into the freezer. I have enough for 3 soups from one cooking, read 2-2.5 weeks

Will the ceramic bowl crack from boiling water from a teapot?
Gypsy
I don't know, mine is still intact
Rina
the saucepan itself will not crack from boiling water. Glaze cracks without any boiling water - just in the process of use

And what is the difference between salty and sauerkraut?

In High mode, everything was in full swing ... but in Low it gurgled around the edges - is this normal?
Now I want to master milk porridge .. especially rice my husband asked :-) Has anyone cooked?

Could you give a recipe for their Chickpea dish?

Fine!!!
In my taste, fermented strongly sour becomes after any heat treatment. When the cabbage is shut off, after fermenting it, I immediately take it to the balcony in the frost. She does not have time to ferment strongly, and I use nothing except carrots and salt. It turns out rather sour, not sour, but salted cabbage.

Now I want to master milk porridge .. especially rice my husband asked :-) Has anyone cooked?
I cook porridge only in a slow cooker, so I won't tell you.
Alexandra

Which one? All my chickpea recipes are in the Alexandra subsection of the personal blogs section.

Here on 1 page there are catalogs of recipes for the old and new Temka about healthy eating. Including chickpeas

In a slow cooker, I basically just boil chickpeas. I soak for 12 hours. with soda (1 tsp for each liter of water). I wash it, fill it with water and bring it to a boil in a regular saucepan, remove the foam, boil for 10 minutes. I wash it, fall asleep in a slow cooker, pour it in boiling water and cook for 10 - 12 hours. I take 1 kg of dry chickpeas. I drain the water and the chickpeas are ready. I don’t salt. Then I make different dishes with the boiled one, including salads, soups, hot dishes, cheese cakes, pancakes, cookies and pizza. I keep it in the refrigerator for about a week.

Here I marinated potatoes according to the recipe and instead of the oven I made them in a slow cooker, it turned out very tasty. The slow cooker seduces me by the fact that I put it down, turned it on and forgot, I don’t have to think that it will burn out or I need to turn it over. I am very pleased with this saucepan.
Gypsy
I forgot to save the link .. I came across an article about slow cookers, so they wrote that in America electric slow cookers became popular in the 70s of the last century, then women began to work a lot for them. Such a historical fact
Mummy mama
Today I tried to make porridge in two pots, putting them in water and overnight .. it turned out to be porridge with baked milk :-)) The husband refused to eat, and the youngest ate with pleasure :-))))) But for the porridge, they still ordered a slow cooker ..

Now I have put the chicken with wine, pepper and potatoes to be prepared "Country style" .. let's see what happens! In LOW mode, it quietly gurgles around the edges :-)

Alexandra thanks for the explanation. I still can't figure it out in the forum ...

tatalija didn’t make yogurt, but I think it should work on the heating function at the weekend, I’ll try to experiment, I made millet porridge with dried apricots and did buckwheat, but I liked it with the meat.
tatalija
Tanya, thanks in advance, I really look forward to your answer on yogurt. Then another question, what did you do, what is the hit of cooking? I'm just really in doubt about the purchase.

To mock, judging by the reviews of the forum, this is a thing. But alas, in our area it is not, they looked at me here as diminished when I undertook to buy it and hovered the sellers in the store. On e-eva, as it is about to buy. Because of this, I looked at the rice cooker, but I understand that this is also not the same, that's how I walk around and around this device.

tatalija I really like cooking meat in MV, I cooked pickled potatoes according to the recipe. MV bribes by the fact that he threw everything into it and forgot, no need to think about what will burn or need to turn it over, if before I baked meat in the oven, now only in MV.
an_domini
tanya1962 , or you can learn more about baking meat? When I stew meat in MV, there is a liquid gravy, but how to bake?
Tanyusha
an_domini I just marinate and put it in a slow cooker without liquid, of course there won't be any crust, but in the oven when I baked in foil I didn't have a crust.

We sell this kind of wheat under the name "wheat for kutyu". My husband wondered what is the difference between wheat and barley, if both are wheat. In the store, we looked and compared (visually) - the wheat is yellow, and the pearl barley is gray.
The markets sell wheat for sprouting (untreated) and for kutia (without husks).

Pearl barley
(Barley)

Pearl barley is a peeled, polished grain of pearl barley without an outer shell so that it cooks faster.

Wheat
The most popular cereal used in breads, pastries, breakfast cereals and pasta. Wheat whole grains can be cooked whole (one part of grain to three parts of water for 40-60 minutes) and they will turn out tasty elastic.

I meant that she poured into it not just water, but chicken broth .. well, and spices.

Gypsy, raising my paws, admitting my mistake. I relied on the opinion of my husband (I am a purely urban creature, and he grew up in the village), but in my opinion the shape of the grains is almost the same.

You gave me food for thought, how much in one go. Eggs for breakfast are understandable, beets for salad, in a package like soup, and at the bottom of the second or dinner. Kruuuto. There is no limit to human imagination.
Another question: MV is quietly working, otherwise I have a bedroom, next to the kitchen, and let's say I can't start up the new HP.

Jews invented it thousands of years ago I ate beets just like that with wheat and sausage

works quietly \ I would say silently \ .. but smells ...

uh ... not not! there is no soup in the package, there is dry porridge - a side dish. The cereal absorbs all the liquid.

And the groats are prepared simply by being in a bag with broth and floating in the broth ??? COOL! Need to try! how much time did it all cost?
Gypsy
Quote: Mummy Mom

not at all. In the evening, soak the cereal for two hours. Then, before going to bed, you stuff everything into a slow cooker .. for an hour or two all this is on the strong mode, then switch to the weak mode and go to sleep peacefully
Aunt Besya
I also made porridge (buckwheat, rice, millet) and yogurt. You can do both. Now I have a yogurt maker, so I can say that it is, of course, more convenient in it, but a multi-cooker is quite suitable for this !!
