Pea soup with smoked meat in Brand multicooker

Ingredients

dried peas 1 st
ribs smoked or smoked sausages 500 gr or 300 gr
small onion 1 PC
small carrot 1 PC
potatoes 300 g
spice
boiling water

Cooking method

  • - according to the recipe, the author suggests soaking the peas overnight, I did it differently, I had the peas in halves))) I don’t remember what it’s called correctly, I washed it to clear water, filled it with warm water and added 0.5 tsp. soda, he stood with me for about 30 minutes, then drained the water and rinsed again.
  • - put the multi into a saucepan and poured water 2-3 centimeters above the peas level, turn on the stewing mode at 1, 30, because I had crushed (I remembered the name) and we do not like completely boiled peas, I set it to 30 minutes
  • - after 30 minutes, turned it off, added finely chopped onions, carrots, spices, potatoes and mixed, put smoked sausage on top, since I did not find the ribs and poured boiling water, here it is already to taste, either smaller, so that it would be thicker, or not
  • - turned on the soup mode

Time for preparing:

1 h. 50 mins

Cooking program:

stewing, soup

Note

if you have whole peas, then it makes sense to soak it overnight, then put it on the stewing mode 1.30, and if it has not become soft, then for another 30 minutes and only then cook the soup, as the author advises

In a pressure cooker, chickpeas are cooked almost splashed in an hour. And peas are cooked until mashed without soaking in the Cook (Soup) mode and so on. Therefore, I stopped cooking peas in soup in a pressure cooker, I don't like mashed potatoes.
As a rule, I cook the broth, and on the stove I cook the peas - 20-25 minutes is enough to cook whole peas without presoaking.

And from green peas (packing "Mistral"), the soup is tastier, and it does not require preliminary locking. Cooking for 1.5 hours in stewing mode. And toast to him ...
