Lazy pita meat pie

Ingredients

thin rectangular pita bread 2 pcs
minced meat (mixed) 600 g
potatoes 2-3 pcs
medium onion 1 PC
small bell peppers of different colors 2 pcs
egg 1 PC
salt 1-1.5 tsp
spice
fresh herbs
oil drain. or margarine 3-5 gr.
FOR FILLING
eggs 3 pcs.
sour cream or kefir 3 tbsp. l. or 0.5 cups
tomato paste 1-2 tbsp. l.
salt 1/3 tsp
oregano, basil, dried mint

Cooking method

  • as I wrote in cabbage pie, the recipe from the donated book)))) just cooled down
  • - grate potatoes on a coarse grater, you can boiled or raw, or you can even without it, but with it the pie is softer, I grated it raw
  • - finely chop the onion, if you want, then you can saute it, if not, then salt the onion so that it would give juice, I rubbed it on a very fine grater and the juice stood out by itself
  • - mix the minced meat (I had only turkey, in the original recipe minced pork, beef, chicken) with an egg, grated potatoes, finely chopped herbs, salt, spices, if the minced meat is thick, add a few tablespoons of water, I added a couple of teaspoons for juiciness sour cream, knead to such a consistency that it would be easy to spread on lavash
  • - wash, peel and cut sweet peppers into long strips 0.8 cm wide, this is the future bright middle of the roll
  • - spread the sheets of pita bread and apply minced meat on them in an even layer, let it lie down a little so that the pita bread softens and does not break when folded
  • - in the meantime, prepare the filling, beat the eggs, add tomato paste, sour cream or kefir, salt and add spices
  • - lay strips of pepper along one side of each sheet of pita bread, alternating colors and roll each sheet into a roll
  • - grease the bowl with oil and put the rolls in it in a spiral, crushing them slightly so that the top is even and the fill is evenly distributed
  • - pour the prepared mixture over the rolls and turn on the multicooker

Note

if the rolls break a little in the process, it doesn't matter in the cake, it won't be visible
after opening the cartoon after the time has elapsed, I saw a little liquid so that it would evaporate, I turned on the steam cooking mode and left the lid open
as the author of the recipe writes, instead of pouring, you can lay out the top with circles of tomatoes and sprinkle with grated cheese
