Chopped beefsteak

Ingredients

Coarsely minced beef (brisket) 600-700 g.
Sour milk (soft cottage cheese, sour cream, yogurt) 2-3 st. l.
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Garlic 2-3 cloves
Favorite greens (cilantro, parsley, tarragon) 1 bundle
Mustard 1 tbsp. l.
Hmeli-suneli (or other spices) 0.5-1 tbsp. l.
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • We take ready-made coarsely minced beef, or make it ourselves, for example, from brisket.
  • Add chopped spices, herbs, garlic, salt to it.

  • Kneading along the way, we continue to add onion, sour milk as baking powder (I had sour cream that began to curl).
  • Chopped beefsteak Chopped beefsteak
  • An additional flavoring agent can serve as mustard - ordinary table or granular.
  • Chopped beefsteak
  • Minced meat knead or beat very wellso that all the ingredients stick together and make friends.
  • Let's start forming round and flat steaks. To keep the steaks the same size, I used a 160 ml measuring cup to grab an equal amount of minced meat. Need to fry in a well-heated frying pan, pressing the steaks with a spatula so that they do not run and swell, or in an electric grill. I have used interchangeable grill plates in my electric multi-task grill waffle maker sandwich maker. Fried for 5 minutes. The steaks are thin and there is a risk of overdrying, so do not get carried away, if you have doubts about readiness after 5 minutes of frying, just cover the removed steaks with foil, they will reach. Remember, hot beef is never raw.

  • Serve your favorite sauce, mustard, horseradish with the steaks, and serve as a side dish with a vegetable salad with herbs, or a classic - french fries.
  • Bon Appetit!

Note

Beefsteak is an internationally popular English national dish. Prepared from beef, cut into large pieces (6X5 or 7X5 cm) across the fibers and fried in its own juice or on a wire rack over high heat for 5-10 minutes without adding salt or other seasonings.

For three years now I have had almost the same device - 4: 1, but so far I haven’t done anything on replaceable grills. I'll bookmark it for a convenient occasion. And their minced pork will be more fatty?
Ukka
Arka, you have created another masterpiece !!! You have golden pens !!!

rusja, I still fried chicken carbonates on this plate. And the sausages on it are also dumb. And eggplants too. Just be sure to grease (with a brush) before using the rast. oil. This way the plates will last longer!
Arka
Thank you girls!
Rusya, you can also make pork on such a grill, only you need more time, and it will be just cutlets. Beefsteak, from the word beef, is just beef.

I fry a lot on these plates: bread, zucchini, eggplant, beaten chicken breasts, etc.

cool! and I have never used these plates! I'll cook it today. I love beef very much, I just bought a beautiful piece

Yes, I also fry (or bake) beautiful striped double sandwiches (cheese and sausage in the middle) or just striped croutons on these plates. We like these sandwiches more than on a sandwich plate.

Fronya, super! About taste, of course. But here's the juice ... I had very little, it was baked immediately and the panels were almost dry. Maybe you warmed it up a little? Then the crust might not have time to seal, and the juice might flow. It is necessary to warm up strongly so that it starts to squirt immediately. And also, if there was frozen meat (minced meat), then it could also leak.
Sonadora
Arch! I also want the same !!! Only I don't have such a multitasking device ...
Arka
Huh! Never mind, fry in a pan. Do you have cast iron? Or what is other thick-bottomed?
Choose a smaller flat lid so the steam can escape easily, and press it down on the steaks.
Well, like, we choked them, choked them! ..
And the device ... Well, go to the gravity pipers, they will process you in 2 accounts

Who's got it wrong here?
rusja
Yes, the problems (for girls) are the same as for Tanya-Froni, meat juice flows past the plates, gets inside and burns. We already discussed this in the sandwich toaster-maker, that most likely the design of removable plates is not improved compared to stationary grills or the meat needs to be made less juicy

Oooh okay.
So who will eat it if you don't make it juicy?
I "invented a bicycle" for myself long ago - I start to fry on the most heated surface, so that it is immediately sealed, then the loss of juice is minimal.
I warm up the panels until the third operation of the indicator light, to be sure.
Good luck everyone with the panels!

Oh, but this is an essential explanation to the recipe, it can help many, if there is still an opportunity to edit, then it is better to add this in the first post

Who's got it wrong here?
Arka, sorry, it's me. Yesterday I screwed up a new multi-grill with steak and was a little upset. All the juice from the meat flowed out under the panels and stuck tightly to the pieces of iron and shadows. At first, I did not see the horror under the panel, but only saw cute grilled steaks
Chopped beefsteak
And when I removed the panel ... there was something terrible there. Well, I, of course, was shocked: sorry for the device - it was just new. Yesterday I tore everything off, but everything burned down tightly. By the way, I warmed up the grill very well (there was already smoke) before putting in the steaks and the meat was defrosted. I still thought when I was preparing: where did all the juice evaporate? And he is all in the unit ... Here are the things I have.
rusja
probably, it is still worth detecting exactly 3 cycles of the green light on / off, and so that the panels do not burn, grease them with vegetable oil
Lagri
And there was nothing for the panels, they were wiped off with some water very quickly. Here with the juice from the meat, I think that it can be used the foil and remove it from the unit so that it does not flow under the panels. Place a tray under the multigrill and let the juice drain out. Something like that.
