It is difficult to improve a bowl with ice cream or sorbet - wonderful delicacies, and even made with your own hands from natural products. But sometimes you want to decorate your dessert a little - for a holiday, for guests or to cheer up your beloved. Syrups, sauces, toppings and other ice cream treats

You can make the sauce yourself. It is easy, and its quality is so much superior to the store's that you will never again reach for a bottle of sauce on supermarket shelves.

In addition, I propose to collect in this topic not only recipes for sauces and other toppints, but also edible cups and ice cream cones (waffles, chocolate ... and everything that is enough for our imagination).

AnastasiaCongratulations! As a result? Can you share the recipes for waffles and mint ice cream with us?

https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=142963.0
a source 🔗 there are several of them (I did the second):
120 ml milk
160 g flour
140 g sugar
1 bag of vanilla sugar
1 egg
70 g butter (margarine), melted

beat butter, sugar, egg and vanillin (but not hard)
adding flour a little, keep stirring
add water (milk), and knead a liquid homogeneous dough
leave for 2 hours - I WERE WITHDRAWAL THIS TIME!
bake in a waffle iron until golden brown
My side note - poured into a waffle iron using a donut dispenser. The dough is so good and balanced that it spread very well over the waffle iron and the waffles were airy and thin.

Anastasia Thanks for the great recipe. What delicious waffles-tubes I have turned out! Next time I will make a double portion of the dough. The main plus is that on the second day the waffles are just as crispy.

Waffle cups

I served ice cream in such cups. They are different, because we had to determine which ones are more convenient for us.

Quote: Anastasia

Wow! Greatly shaped cups - much more convenient than horns! We must take it into service! Thanks for the idea!

Anastasia, you are welcome !
It also seems to me that it is more convenient in glasses than in a cone.

Quote: Hairpin

And for those in the tank, where are the glasses from?

Quote: Anastasia

From a waffle iron. They can simply be shaped not by a horn, but by such a glass, if, for example, after baking, they can be put on a regular glass and pulled to shape.

Uffffffffff! I would not have guessed!
Boom to pull !!!

Qween, and what recipe do you use for making waffles for such cups? My standard recipe will not work, it will get wet too quickly. I think the glasses need to be thick enough and not get wet for a long time.

Zubastik , the most delicious thin, crunchy, and absolutely (!) waffles I bake according to the recipe Anastasia.

Chocolate cups

Chocolate cups with Mascarpone
Chocolate (bitter) 100 g
Paper candy trays (small) about 20 pcs

Cooking method
Melt chocolate in a water bath, pour it into molds, spreading the walls of the mold with a small spoon or a small pastry brush. Perhaps at first you will want to remember me with an unkind word, but somewhere by the 4th cup you will fill your hand, and it will go more fun. Put in the refrigerator until it solidifies, then carefully remove the paper molds.
You get the following cups:

I used white chocolate for the cups. There is a lot of room for imagination, you can vary the chocolate according to your taste. I have from 100 gr. 25 cups of chocolate came out, it is better to make less of this amount, but with thicker walls, then it will be easier to remove the pieces of paper.

Some of my cups are crumbling

Chocolate vases

The festive dish also provides for its festive serving! Break the chocolate into pieces, place it in a bowl and send it to the microwave for a couple of minutes until melted. At this time, we inflate the balls to a small size, with a diameter slightly less than the diameter of our bowl.

Now we dip the washed and dried balls to the middle in chocolate and set them on a sheet until they solidify.

Gently pierce the balls with a needle, free the vases from rubber patches and fill them with delicious and healthy ice cream.
Let everything be in chocolate!

Ground caramelized walnut 1 tbsp l.
Wheat flour 1 tbsp. l.
Sugar 1 tsp (less possible)
Starch 0.5 tsp.
Serum 2 tbsp. l.

First, prepare the caramelized walnuts.
Chop the walnuts finely, but without fanaticism.
Then we caramelize them: 3 tbsp. l. walnuts 2 tbsp. l. sugar and 1 tbsp. l. water.
We put all this on low heat and do not touch it until the water boils away and the nuts begin to fry.

We mix.

We remove from the fire. And let it cool. All caramelized walnuts are ready.

Now grind 1 tbsp. l. nuts (the rest will still come in handy for ice cream ) in a coffee grinder, mill, etc.

We knead the dough from all the ingredients. We bake waffles in a waffle iron for thin waffles, spreading the dough on molds 1 tbsp each. l.

While they are still warm, put the waffle on the glass and press lightly. It cools down and keeps its shape

Waffles are obtained with a pronounced walnut and caramel taste.
The waffles are sweet, so I recommend that you first taste the dough without sugar, and then add sugar to taste

Caramel-sesame baskets

Ingredients:
sesame seeds 80g
sugar 200g
almond oil

Syrups, sauces, toppings and other ice cream treatsCook the caramel syrup.
In a saucepan, melt sugar with four tablespoons of water and set over low heat.
Syrups, sauces, toppings and other ice cream treatsSugar will first boil, then it will begin to change color and thicken.
Syrups, sauces, toppings and other ice cream treatsWhen the sugar becomes a beautiful amber color, add the sesame seeds.

Cook for about 30 more seconds, stirring, then quickly pour over 6 pieces of baking paper (for 6 baskets), quickly spreading it out with a spoon to make a circle about 12 centimeters in diameter. Next, you need to bend the paper, for example, onto a teacup, but not immediately, but letting it harden a little (but not to the point of hardness, otherwise when we bend the paper in the shape of a cup, the caramel will break) so that when we place it on the cup, it does not run down the paper. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of caramel on paper on a flat surface, I was so worn out by that moment and was afraid to miss the moment when it would have to be placed on the cup.

Syrups, sauces, toppings and other ice cream treatsHere is a photo already on the cup.
Allow to harden properly. I left the baskets for 6 hours. Then we separate the paper from the baskets. If the paper comes off, you can slightly moisten it with a damp paper towel, then it will easily come off the basket.
