Ingredients

Flour 1 grade 400 g
Fresh yeast 8 g
Egg 1 PC.
Milk about 3/4 cup
Salt 1/3 tsp
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.
Sugar 2 tsp
Filling
Large onion 4 things.
Vegetable oil 2-3 st. l.
Thick sour cream 2-3 st. l.
Hard cheese 100 g
Spices to taste
Sugar 1.5 tsp.
Salt
Poppy (sesame or sunflower seeds) 2-3 tsp
Milk (for lubrication) 50 ml

Cooking method

  • Glass = 250 ml
  • Mix yeast with 0.5 cups of warm milk, sugar and 1 tbsp. l flour, give rise. Add egg, flour, (you may have to add a little more milk), at the end of kneading vegetable oil. The dough is soft, elastic. Proofing for 1.5 hours.
  • Filling
  • Cut the onion into half rings, fry with vegetable oil, sugar, salt, add sour cream and spices (I added nutmeg, Provencal herbs), simmer until the liquid evaporates. Cool down.
  • Form 15 balls (or more), press lightly to flatten, place on a baking sheet and leave under plastic wrap for 30 minutes.
  • Make a depression with the bottom of the glass in each ball. Grease with milk, put onion filling, sprinkle with grated cheese, then poppy seeds.
  • Bake at 180 * -190 * 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cybula

Note

I found a similar recipe by searching for Crochet, Buns with onions and poppy seeds, but there are differences in the preparation of the filling.

Delicious, ate and left for tomorrow! Perhaps, next time I will add some meat to the filling, there will be a mini pizza.

I do not know. As if I would not have seen such a name.
I just remembered it. When we still had "Okay" (now "Auchan" is in its place), baked goods were sold there. And once the husband comes and with such a contented look tells what Tsybulash ate. We started laughing with that name. It turns out that buns called tsibulash were sold in Okey, and they looked almost the same buns (in appearance) as you put it.
