Roast with prunes in a multicooker Polaris PMC 0517AD

Ingredients

Meat (boneless beef or turkey fillet) 500 g
Potatoes 800 g
Carrot 100 g
Bulb onions 150 g
Prunes 15 pcs.
Pitted barberry 1 tbsp. l. (no slide)
Rast. oil 5 tbsp. l.
Sour cream 2 tbsp. l.
Salt, spices taste

Cooking method

  • Pour oil into the multicooker bowl. Turn on the mode Multicook at 130 C and 30 min. When the oil warms up a little, load the pre-diced onions and carrots. We fry for about 15 minutes. Next, we send the meat, cut as for goulash, into the bowl. We do not put the meat all at once, but gradually, so that it roasts evenly and does not release too much liquid from it. When the mode Multicook will end and go to Heating, load the food processor sliced potatoes using the French fries attachment. Stir the sour cream in a glass of warm water and pour it into a bowl. Next, add hot water to the level of the potatoes. Salt, add spices to taste, barberry, prunes. Stir the top layer of potatoes lightly. We close the multicooker, turn off Heating and include Extinguishing for 2.5 hours. At the end of the program, stir the dish and turn off the appliance.

Girls, however, the dish is very tasty, especially the next day. If, of course, there is something left.
The main thing is that cooking is simple.

No barberry, I'll try it with some prunes.

Ira, it's okay. With one prune, it also works fine. You can even not add any barberry or prunes at all. Initially, this dish was made in our family. This is then, after reading the Internet, I began to add these ingredients. And somehow it stuck.
irman
Annushka, I also make barberry without prunes and I also want to taste this taste.

Oh, well then, of course. With one prune it will be ok too.

Zoya,
potatoes are laid raw on fried meat and poured with sour cream diluted in water and hot water. The water should almost cover the potatoes. Next, add the rest of the ingredients, mix slightly and turn on the stewing. Steaming is not used here.

Thank you, Anna, for the clarification. I would have done so, but I was confused by this part in your recipe description - load potatoes, chopped on a food processor using the French fries attachment.... Now I read it more closely and understood.

Anya, I have done it according to your recipe more than once. True, with some deviations ... Now one is not, then the other (for example, there are no attachments, and there is no combine harvester!, I cut it arbitrarily with a knife on the board) ...
But the "base" is your recipe. Delicious! For the first time my daughter looked so suspiciously at the prunes on the plate! , and then "licked" everything. Today I even extinguished for only 1.5 hours (well, everyone wanted to eat, but my mother started it all late), and everything turned out great! Thanks for the tasty treat!

I'm very glad that your family liked the recipe, Irochka. Thank you!
By the way, on our field you can instead extinguishing use beans... Then it cooks a little faster. And if you have a Teflon bowl, you can use the mode multi-cook by 110-120 degrees. Everything will be ready in an hour.

What will happen to the potatoes in two and a half hours? she will turn into mashed potatoes
Nuta_
Catherine , on mode extinguishing and if the potatoes are not chopped too finely, the mashed potatoes will not work. : pardon: The temperature is rather low.
And on modes with a higher temperature, the cooking time, of course, decreases. See the previous message.
