Okay, I'm always too timid from the large print

Tell me, is it not a lot of time for a liver, especially one as tender as chicken, - 1 hour 25 minutes?

We know this dish as Stroganoff's liver (with some variations in the form of carrots)

The text was corrected. No time for a little. My daughter prepares this recipe, I don't know where she got it. I myself thought that 1 hour 25 minutes is a lot, until I cooked it.

But about the Stroganoff liver, I think you're wrong. Compare:
Stroganoff liver

The liver is very tender.
The main thing is not to overexpose it on fire.

STRUCTURE
~ 500g liver, 2 ~ 3 onions, 250 ~ 500g sour cream, butter or vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon flour, salt, pepper
Finely chop the onion. Heat oil in a deep frying pan (saucepan), put onion, stir. Put the fire on a little higher than min and leave to simmer until transparent and soft (15 ~ 20 minutes); stir periodically. The onions should not start to fry, otherwise it will give the wrong smell and bitterness to the finished dish.

While the onion is stewing, prepare the liver.
Wash, clean from films and bile ducts, cut into cubes 3 ~ 4 cm long.
Heat oil in another frying pan and put the liver there. Caution! Oil may splash.

With constant stirring, fry the liver over max heat for 2 minutes.
Sprinkle the fried liver with flour, stir and transfer to a saucepan with onions.
Add fire to medium. Add sour cream, pepper, stir.
Bring to the boil. Reduce the heat to a minimum, cover the pan and simmer for 15 ~ 20 minutes. The readiness of the liver is determined only by taste - it should be slightly undercooked.
Salt the prepared liver, remove the frying pan from heat and close the lid again. Leave to rise for about 3 minutes.

Grigorieva

Well I wrote that with "some digressions in the form of carrots" ... well, flour ...
I know this recipe, I have it in my profile and I often cook it, and I like it more with chicken liver

I do the same. I honestly don't understand why spend 40 minutes baking. Put the liver, washed and dried with a paper towel, together with onions in a multicooker, one gurgle of vegetable oil there and on the "frying" mode - in my 4503 it is automatically set for 15 minutes, and that's a lot. 5 minutes with the lid closed, then go to mix, close the lid and another 5 minutes. Then turn it off, add spices, salt, sour cream, a spoonful of flour, mix and "stew" - about 10 minutes at most. I think the result will be identical, but time savings on the face. This is a chicken liver, and it is cooked on the stove for 10 minutes from start to finish.
Grigorieva
It's not the same for everybody.
