  • The Bolo de Rolo roll is a typical Brazilian delicacy from Pernambuco, a state off the northeast coast of Brazil.
  • It is made from very thin layers of buttery dough smeared with a thin layer of guava paste. After seeing this recipe, I fell in love with it at first sight and decided to cook it with apple filling, adding some cranberries for color. The result met all my expectations! Delicious, very tender and soft dough is perfectly saturated with applesauce, the roll just melts in your mouth!
