Who can say something about her?
Natalia55
I bought this model on December 27, I thought to give myself a gift, but it was not there.
in a few days I discovered a lot of negativity in her.
1. A saucepan of 4 liters, not 6 liters.
2. Saucepan-steamer, which is attached to it without holes, nowhere in the instructions it is not mentioned at all.
How to cook in it and on what mode and how long is not clear.
3. No audible signal after the pressure has been raised and the selected program is not displayed as indicated, it just starts counting down.
4. The data in the cooking table do not correspond to the actual ones. For example, "bake" mode is set to 30min (default). and displays a maximum of 18 minutes. and you can add 7 minutes, not 1-40, as in the instructions. And this applies not only to this regime.
5. The recipe book does not stand up to scrutiny. The recipes were pulled from all sites without any edits and proofreading of texts, they are mainly for MV, not for pressure cookers and certainly not for this model.
There are still a lot of shortcomings that I do not want to list.
In fairness, I want to say that the usual charlotte in it turned out fine. Dried fruit compote with a very rich taste and aroma. The chicken turned out to be tolerable.
After the purchase, 2 weeks have not passed, I thought to return it, but they poked instructions in my nose. where it says that this can be done only if I did not use it. I wonder how I could have found out all this differently?
I did not find reviews about this model on any site.
Honestly, I don't know what to do, whether to adapt to it, or to start a lawsuit with the store and return it.

Thank you so much for your answer ... I almost bought it ... but of course it's a shame for you, it would seem that the manufacturer is not China, but the Germans .... should be good, but here's the thing (((
I also studied the Internet, found 1 review ... apparently the consultant wrote

yeah ... did you ever have a pressure cooker before? Is it really only 4 liters? Did you see the mark in the pan, or did you measure and pour the liquid into the pan? On the officer. the site still says 6 liters, ask them questions
In almost all pressure cookers of this level, the name of the mode is never displayed, but the program button is just lit, which works and goes to the display just counting down the time from the moment the pressure is set.
\ a huge request to you to more accurately measure the volume of the saucepan if you still did not measure the water (well, at least with a liter jar or something) and put a photo of a saucepan, a double boiler in this Temka, otherwise I look at this model exactly as a 6- whith liter.
SeredaG
And ... excuse me for another question: do you add time in the mode with the "+" button? or by repeatedly pressing the program button?
in "free mode" it seems to me that it should be added step by step by 1 minute (for many pressure cookers) how much is the maximum cooking time in "free mode"? 60 minutes or 99?

More details: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=194021.0

The volume was measured with a measuring cylinder. In more detail: 3/5 (the maximum allowed in the instructions) is 3.440 liters. A completely full pan (water is poured out) is about 5 liters, according to the "marusin belt" 4 liters. The height of the pan is 16.3cm, the diameter of the bottom is 19.5cm, and the top is 22.5cm.
That is, if you calculate by the formula, you get 5 liters.
I add time in the mode with the "+" button
The maximum cooking time in "free mode" is 99 min.
I did not write to the site, but I found an online store that offers to ask questions about this SV model, I asked a week ago, did not answer.
I will try to take a picture of the steamer and put it out later.
SeredaG
I was answered within 2-3 days on the site

I really asked a question about a replacement pot and a spare silicone O-ring and they contacted the officials and then only answered me ... But I couldn't even think that there could be such a garbage with the volume of a saucepan. since on the official website in both models of pressure cookers 6 liters are painted

In general, you had every right to return the pressure cooker for that reason. that it is not 6 liters !!! pure deception. because the Ukrainian market already has enough pressure cookers 5-liter and cheaper, why buy an ordinary one is no better than Comfort or Scarlet or Elby or Liberty for 200 hryvnias more expensive? you can argue with those. who sold you. that the product does not meet the declared characteristics.
SeredaG
They answered me from the site that I indicated above: "Hello Galina!
Especially for you, I took the pressure cooker from the warehouse and measured the capacity.
The capacity of the pressure cooker really holds 6 (six) liters of water, but,
useful volume of 5 (five) liters. The container has a measuring scale that ends with an extruded ring along the entire radius of the container 5 (liters), over the ring is placed another 1 (one) liter of water. So, I am thinking of claiming that the manufacturer's website is giving false information
not beautiful to say the least.I think you will find among household items a lot of things that have a certain capacity, but you cannot use 100% of their capacity if they do not have lids, plugs, shut-off valves! ...... in order to avoid getting food on the heating element, it is not recommended to fill the container above the graduation limit. "
that is, it is still 6 liters, but you can fill in 5.5 -5 liters
Natalia55
Galina, a little higher I gave the measurement data of this pan. Calculate by the formula, 5L comes out ..ALL, not working volume.
In addition, you can look at it with your own eyes in any store where it is sold and see for yourself.

And here is what I managed to learn additionally during this time. Such a German company as Vitalex does not exist in Germany at all. The pressure cooker was made in Odessa on Malaya Arnautskaya.
I got through to the manager, talking with him is complete nonsense. He did not answer a single question, as if he was taking lessons from our politicians. When asked why not 6 liters. He said, and you other models saw what they write and what they say in reality. She asked why all the recipes were pulled from the Internet, and the baking time is 65+ 40, although the default is 18 minutes, and the measure is indicated in faceted glasses. He froze completely. The only thing that I managed to find out that 4 small holes on bezel steaming pots are sufficient and nothing will explode. I tried to steam chicken breasts with mushrooms. Nothing really exploded. But only all the water remains in this saucepan, due to the fact that there are no holes there. As a result, the dish turned out to be boiled in water, and not steamed. Steamed vegetables, I think, will also be in their own juice.
For me, in general, there are a lot of questions about this SV. For example, 12 telemetry sensors, what this info is for and what it gives to users. Why is there only a pan and nothing else in the SV configuration? Why is the diagram showing a completely different cover, which may belong to some other SV, such as Scarlet.
I thought they would answer these questions at the service center. And there I was informed that the company indicated this number by mistake. Call them there and find out. These are the "glorious" things with this SV.
SeredaG
In my Elby pressure cooker (3rd model), there were no instructions with recipes at all and I coped with nothing the first time, although before that I never had a pressure cooker or a multicooker. The steamer is not included in the package at all. True, it is 5-liter.
in Vitallex I am more worried about the fact that it is 6 or 5 liters in volume.

And you promised to upload a photo of a saucepan, and at the same time a photo of your pressure cooker. You are welcome.

I get out of a situation with a lack of steamer standards
and nothing is enough for the central hole, the rest of course if it lets juice, it will be in its juice ... that's for sure
And it was made just in China for sure. like most other pressure cookers on the Russian and Ukrainian market. On my Elby they write made in the UK and in another place of the package it is still written China. Others write Austria, but still China. Therefore, it does not look like a dubious fact at all.
Does your pressure cooker stink of non-food grade plastic? Doesn't cook? Does everything in her burn? Don't be so upset. I think. that only Mulinex has the norms of instruction, Cuckoos can still have Binaton, in Russia with Brand, Everyone has such a situation. Almost everyone mastered their multi and pressure cookers at random.

PS. by the way I will add .... I went and measured the height of my 5-liter saucepan - it is only 14 cm.so yours should definitely hold more water than mine

Galina, take a look and pay attention to different photos of SV on the covers.

So, the diagram and description in the instructions are given for this unknown MV.
Thank you for the idea, I also thought in this direction. Hopefully I'll pick it up.anything with holes.
As for the store, I bought mine in a regular store, not an online store.
Since the main company Vitallex is located in Odessa, where you live, you can probably see there.

Natalia, thank you so much as the Pioneer of this pressure cooker on the forum!
The steamer is of course dumb. just a bowl of some skillful hands someone drilled holes and a mustache

But the larger saucepan still looks like the standard 5-liter ones, here you can't count using the formula - the saucepan is convex.
The consultant who answered my e-mail said that if you pour a ring. where FULL (full) is written, it will be 5 liters, and up to the very top. then 6 liters. So in my 5-liter - there is a FULL mark and there probably 4 or 4.5 liters. but I pour above the main thing to leave at least 1 cm to the sides, so that there is a place for an air lock to form and create pressure. I think that in 6-liter Mulinexes too, you have to ask around.
I must confess that I definitely missed, I saw the contacts myself and did not realize that our city code is Odessa. I should have asked them to look at the pan.

In general, I think it will not disappoint you, and the recipes will be suitable from any pressure cooker Temko here on the forum.
the double boiler is just really none.

You know Galina, it is always easy to look for the guilty on the side. For example, yesterday with my wife I wanted to bake bread on a Panasonic bread maker, and after reading the instructions I could not set anything and even start kneading the dough. And then he sat down for a little thought, and everything worked out. So it can really, first really buy and test, than just write that Vitalex is bad and inconvenient. Maybe all the same it is better to understand?

I really asked a question about a replacement pot and a spare silicone O-ring and they contacted the official representatives and then only answered me ... You know, I was not too lazy to pour water into my VITALEX VT-5200 and measure it. Exactly to the eyeballs - 5990! So I can firmly say that it holds the declared 6 liters. But I don't quite understand for what purpose such a large volume is needed? Even if the family is large, then 6 liters of borscht is a bust, but this is my subjective opinion. Maybe you have 5 children, I don't know ...
SeredaG
It was not me who scolded the pressure cooker, but Natalia, who bought it - on the contrary, I wanted to find out from her what exactly is bad. because there was interest in buying it.
And in our family we have 6 people - 4 adults and two teenagers. I need borscht for a few days - you know, we go to work from 9.00 to 18.30 every day, there is not always time to start cooking in the morning. And so in the 5-liter after dinner there is only two adult borscht (well, respectively, and other food). Because it turns out very tasty and sometimes they want additives
I have had a 5-liter Elby pressure cooker for two years now - so we found out during this time that it would be nice for our family to have 6 liters of capacity - after all, the liquid in the saucepan of the pressure cooker should not be poured to the eyeballs.
Why did you buy such a big one if you don't need it? After all, there are more 5-liter models of pressure cookers than 6-liter models - Scarlet, Liberty, Dax 40, Comfort, Mirta, Elby, Polaris
Sandy
And I liked the pressure cooker, nothing like that ....... and watched the video on YouTube.
Everything is there. I can buy it later to help my beloved Comfort

Hello, girls, a similar Vimar 165 multicooker has appeared. The parameters are almost the same as those of the Vitalex 5200:
Model: VMC-165

Voltage frequency: 220-50Hz

Wattage: 1000W

Capacity: 6L

Inner diameter: 23.80cm

Working pressure: 0-70 kPa

Pressure limitation: 90kPa

Heat retention: 60-80 C
Maybe someone will be interested?
Sandy
Very interesting, only in the store following the link they are not
Julia555
Good night all!
Quite by accident I got to this forum, I was looking for a multicooker for a gift and was faced with the fact that almost all the multicooker about what reviews there are, there are quite a few bad reviews. So I decided to look and read reviews about the pressure cooker which I have been using for more than six months, because when I bought there were no reviews at all.
And that's what I want to write, I agree with everything written above (about the time on the modes, recipe books, and I never used a saucepan for steaming, because I could not understand how it can be used, but about the liter of the pan in general did not think, since we live together with my husband and we always have a lot of it ...).
But here's what I want to say in terms of cooking, it suits me perfectly, the food turns out to be very tasty (I cook potatoes with different types of meat, pilaf, soup, porridge, I love making pork ribs, etc. and everything is very fast and tasty). And the husband often cooks charlotte. Therefore, I am happy !!!
One thing I understood how many people and opinions

The slow cooker is good. I have the same sound when you turn it on and when I finish work. No holes are needed in the steamer pan; it works by heating. And the firm is very good, I have a conical curling iron of this firm and a friend's meat grinder. And you Natalia, better understand the multicooker, and then write negative comments about her.

Girls, help, I can’t find the instruction on the Vitalex VT-5210 Multicooker-Pressure Cooker. tell me where to download? or at least a similar instruction?
