Ingredients

macaroons 80

granulated sugar 120
vanilla sugar 1 sachet
apples 4-6 pcs.

Cooking method

  • Break the cookies with your hands or put them in a plastic bag and chop them with a rolling pin. Mix together flour, a pinch of salt and 150 grams of butter. Stir to make an oil crumb.
  • Combine 100 grams of granulated sugar, vanilla sugar and crumbled macaroons, and then add butter crumbs.
  • Place the dough in a baking paper lined dish, gently crush it with wet hands and refrigerate while the apples are cooking.
  • Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Wash the apples, peel, cut into 4 pieces and remove the seed pods. Chop the fruits into thinnest strips and lay on the surface of the cake.
  • Melt the remaining butter and brush the apple slices with a brush. Mix the rest of granulated sugar (20 g) with cinnamon, or without cinnamon, and sprinkle the cake evenly.
  • Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, until the sugar begins to caramelize.
