Uzbek pilaf with beef (in the Oursson 5005 multicooker)

Ingredients

beef fillet 500 g
vegetable oil 200 ml
parboiled rice 400 g
carrot 300 g
onion 300 g
zira incomplete teaspoon
cumin non-infused teaspoon
coriander kernels half a teaspoon
garlic 1 head
red hot pepper 1 pod
black pepper and salt taste
water or broth less liter
goose or duck meat a little, for flavor

Cooking method

  • Many people complain that pilaf according to other recipes and in other modes turns out like porridge with meat. But according to this recipe, you can make real, crumbly pilaf, which will not differ much from pilaf from a cauldron.
  • Turn on the "fry" mode for 30 minutes. Fry the beef cubes on both sides in 100 ml oil, add the chopped onion rings and lightly fry.
  • Then add the carrots cut into cubes and, stirring occasionally, continue to fry until the end of the time.
  • Next, put all the spices (spices are very important, without them you shouldn't even start cooking!), Put the rice on top, insert a whole head of garlic and a whole pepper there and pour 100 ml of oil.
  • Attention! You don't need to mix rice with meat!
  • Fill with boiling water or broth so that the liquid covers the rice by 2-2.5 cm. Again, do not stir.
  • We turn on the "roast" mode for 50 minutes.
  • After the end of the program, stir. Bon Appetit!

The dish is designed for

6-7

Time for preparing:

1 hour 20 minutes

Cooking program:

fry + roast

Well, pilaf has appeared in our saucepan - THANKS for the recipe!

The oil, of course, will have to be selected to your liking. For me, 300 ml. vegetable oil for 500 grams of meat, that's too much!

Many people complain that pilaf according to other recipes and in other modes turns out like porridge with meat - there is! But, it depends on the correct selection of the rice-water ratio, and not everyone can do this right away, experience is needed and a sense of proportion for this ratio

Thank you! Let's cook together!

Looks appetizing !!! Tell me, if there is no such mode, I have another slow cooker, is the extinguishing mode suitable?
olessia80
Rishka, yes, should do. Follow the recipe for the rest. Write later how it happened!

Thanks for the recipe! We just dined on pilaf - it turned out to be a real crumbly pilaf. I had pork instead of beef, I poured boiling water about 1.5 cm.

Girls, can you cook such pilaf in 5002? What mode should be used to get crumbly rice, and not porridge with meat?
