Rabbit in beer

Ingredients

Rabbit 2 Kg
Bulb onions 3 pcs
Carrot 2 pcs
Beer 1 bottle
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp
Vegetable oil, salt, pepper, chili

Cooking method

  • Cut the rabbit into portioned pieces and soak for several hours in a slightly acidic solution of water and vinegar. Then fry the pieces in oil and put them in a saucepan (I use a cast iron, it makes life much easier). In the same oil where the rabbit was fried, lightly fry the onions and carrots and add to the rabbit. Pour a bottle of beer into the same frying pan and bring to a boil. At this time, sprinkle cinnamon, paprika, chili on the meat with vegetables, season with salt, pepper and pour boiling beer. Close the lid and simmer for 2.5 hours.

Note

The dish turns out to be very fragrant, and the combination of spices will warm you with its oriental notes, when it is far from summer outside!
