DeLonghi BDM-755S Bread Maker Manual

DeLonghi BDM 755-S: European functionality at a "native price"
After reading the forum and impressed by the possibility of creativity, I bought a new model of a bread machine in Kiev via the Internet. The design is impressive, modern. I'm starting to master. Standard baked goods according to the instructions are obtained. Improvisations with yeast-free bread and using the 125 recipe are edible. In all recipes I add baking from 30 to 60 minutes. The recipe for yeast-free bread (with cheese and paprika) was taken from 125 with a proportional recalculation of ingredients from 1.25 kg to a maximum of 755 - 1.0 kg. The bread turned out to be very dense and not completely baked, the dough tastes good. That. what happened, cut into pieces and dried in convention mode in a microwave oven. Delicious. I ask you to share the experience of lovers of yeast-free bread, how to properly bake such bread.

I bought it on 22.12 in Foxtrot (Ukraine).
There is a question.
I choose program number 1. Baking plain white bread.
The oven has kneaded the dough. The timer was counting down the allotted time.
And here - bam. And the stove went off. That is, the operation indicator went out and the timer was reset again to 3:18.
This is normal? Or am I in trouble?

I will not be too lazy to tell my story about the DeLonghi 755.
I bought it last week. When I baked it for the first time, I got normally baked bread, but with a completely white crust. In the dough kneading, some clicks were constantly heard - well, the sound is clearly not normal for kneading, and to be honest, this was very embarrassing for me.
When I tried the next day, but already with the function of a dark crust, the bread was baked normally, the crust was already more or less, but still a little light.
I was more upset by these constant clicks during the kneading, you can clearly hear that something is not working properly. It seems that during the mixing of the HP, some parts cling to each other. Even my husband listened and agreed with me.
Well, in general, I called this store, and there they told me that since the HP was already in use, they can change or return the money to me only if I bring the defect report from the service center.
In the service, they really gave me an act where it was indicated that there was a factory defect in the VHP that needs to be repaired.
The store broke down for a long time, they did not want me to change anything, they say, it was in use "go and repair" in the service.
The consumer protection office told me almost the same that the store has the right to refuse replacement and return, because of its use. It turns out that a new law has come out.
After three hours of red tape in the store's office and a thorough inspection of the KP, we got the money back.
Most likely they will repair themselves and sell.
And judging by our Ukrainian laws, IF YOU BUY ANY EQUIPMENT, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT IT IS FUNCTIONAL, AND EVEN IN THE POSITION TWO WEEK TIME YOU WILL NOT ACCEPT IT BECAUSE YOU HAVE SUCCESSED TO USE IT. but how can you find out about the presence of a defect without using it?
In short, I bought a new technique, and then also repair it. (Well, in the service center, of course, it's free).
But thank God I still managed to get the money back. After all, some shops make concessions.
As a result, on the Day of St. Nicholas, the husband made a gift - he presented KP with the subsequent finding out that she was defective.
And for the New Year, I received a new gift - with great difficulty and spoiled mood I returned the money for the initially faulty equipment.
Like this!
But in general, the HP of this company is very much praised, maybe I was just not lucky? Now I sit and choose another brand.
BigV
I bought this model via the Internet. I have been using it for over a month.
I baked bread according to the first program 2 times, and then only combined rye-whole grain with various additives. I am especially pleased with the taste of Lithuanian bread, where there are solid additives (recipe on the website). The last time, instead of the maximum 1 kg, it turned out to be 1.2 kg. There were no quality problems, I did not throw out a single bukhanka. I am very pleased with the purchase. And the timer obviously clicks.
The main thing is to control the bun when mixing.

lenysa, what a pity that it happened, unfortunately, you are out of luck. Factory defect - this happens with every manufacturer, even the most beautiful. There are people here on the forum - just fans of Delongy, who bake bread beautifully and love their HP. But, unfortunately, you got such an unpleasant exception.

I hope this misunderstanding will not discourage you from making homemade bread? Choose a new stove and we are waiting for you in the ranks of the Khlebopechkins.

Hello everyone! Happy New Year!!
My dream came true, my husband gave HP Delonghi BDM 755!!!
The first three attempts to bake bread were crowned complete failure ... it's her own fault ... HP was in a room with a room temperature of about 12 degrees, well, some of the ingredients that I added were at a low temperature (not room temperature) ... like this ... bread just isn't rose. I transferred the HP and the ingredients to a room with a normal room temperature and water, and then poured warm (slightly warmed) milk for kneading the dough and the bread turned out to be simply excellent ...
Today I made pizza dough, baked 2 pieces. - a bit too much for two ...
Tell me how to store yeast dough, I heard that you can freeze, but how will it rise after freezing?

So far, everyone, I liked the stove, although I had not used any other one before ... I read your forum and wanted myself ... ... all successful baking ...
Viki
Congratulations !!! Successful bread, tasty and healthy!
And about the pizza dough: due to lack of time, I do not freeze the dough, but an already made but not baked pizza, that is, a semi-finished product, sometimes helps out. When I come after the daily shift, I take it out and go to rest. It defrosts and is as good as new, all that remains is to send it to the oven.
But fresh is always tastier!

But I can't buy De Longi, although I have my eyes on this 75th model (I liked the price-quality ratio and very detailed, competent instructions, and the company is considered very good). The problem is that in Moscow they suddenly disappeared abruptly, not a single large hardware store, even via the Internet - and then to order. Or maybe I am so blind and someone somewhere came across this miracle?
Bee
I'll tell you in order. One day in November, after buying a particularly tasteless bread, I decided to bake it at home. But the recipe "... flour, how much dough will take ..." does not suit me, you need everything in grams. Therefore, my visit to the Internet for a recipe led me to this (already my favorite) site. I will not tell you the details of the agony of choice, but for a month now we have been eating bread baked in Delonghi 755. The bread turns out to be delicious, no complaints. And joy - the child began to eat bread. Almost all the recipes are taken from the forum, the hands have not yet reached the book.
I like that all the necessary programs are there: classic, French, wholemeal, that is, whole grain, sweet, gluten-free bread, turbo and rapid (quick bread) program, cake (muffin), pasta dough (suitable for dumplings and dumplings), pizza dough, jam, pastries. Not everything that I paid attention to when choosing was so important and necessary. For example, a large viewing window is convenient but not necessary, a fully automatic dispenser (accompanied by a beep) is good but not necessary. True, now I am sitting with my child at home - I have time, but when I go to work and the time becomes less, I will probably appreciate the dispenser. And, of course, the price suited us.
I want to say a huge thank you to everyone for sharing your experience, don’t leave newbies and, in general, for a pleasant atmosphere on the forum. Now I can no longer imagine my house, which does not smell of fresh bread.

And the timer obviously clicks.
The relay clicks, which turns the ten on and off to maintain the temperature of 30-35 degrees during the rise of the dough. I have no instructions for the 755 model, so I downloaded and use the instructions for the 125, which describe in detail the time and temperature of each stage. And the most interesting thing is that in the 075, 125 and 755 models, the kneading, lifting and baking times on the same programs are slightly different. And the timer is electronic, so it cannot click.

I want to tell you how we turned on our stove for the first time. We have DeLonghi 125. Bought 3 weeks ago. When they had already put all the ingredients in there, they inserted the bucket and turned it on. How she began to crack ... and I can't even tell what those sounds were. I then thought: "Wow, she even shakes the dough for kneading!" And it was already about midnight. Then my husband and I decided that we would not wake the baby up with such a roar, and tomorrow I would put it on again. And tomorrow, when I put the bucket in again, I noticed that yesterday it was simply not secured well. I should have just pressed more boldly. It's good that they didn't break it the first time.

1) If you want - worse than it hurts.
2) If you hurry, you will make people laugh.
3) The morning is wiser than the evening.
It is better not to approach modern technology without reading the instructions several times, although there were no instructions for my stove, but to gain theoretical knowledge on the forum, I risked baking bread, and almost successfully, since the feeling of a kolobok came with experience.
MarinaK
I have had such a stove for 4 months already. I am very happy with it. Now bread is being made on kefir, with pumpkin and sunflower seeds Vkusnota!

Yesterday at Foxtrot I also noticed the 755 model. I was attracted by the compactness and price, but this is not always the determining factor.
Here on the site, unfortunately, there is no description or instructions for it. Tell me, how is it different from the 075s model?
lump
Good afternoon, everyone, take a new one into your ranks! At the weekend I bought a x / p Delonghi 075S. I chose between this stove and the 125th (it seems) also Delonghi. I bought the one that is smaller, because the kitchen is small, and there are few eaters. I have this question to the owners of Delonghi ovens and to everyone else: why does my bread (baked 3 pieces of different kinds) smell not like bread, but like a stove (as if there is grease burning out there) The smell around the apartment is strange flies, not strong, but tangible ... The bread looks pretty, but does not taste very good. There is no that amazing bread smell that everyone is talking about here ...
Rustic stove
Lump, with the purchase of you!

Check if there is nothing stuck on the heating element? maybe what you fell out of the bucket is on fire?

If the smell is clearly "poisonous" - contact the service. Some of the members of the forum handed over their stove back due to a coating defect, there was also some kind of chemical smell when baking (try to search for a search, as far as I remember - it was an lg stove)
lump
Thank you for your congratulations. I checked everything, nothing stuck, and where did something stick, if it was from the very first time !!! I would like some of the owners of such ovens to respond ...
dfl18
I also bought a DeLonghi 075S over the weekend. We managed to make only two loaves - one classic (without changing the book recipe) and one cupcake. The classic turned out well. The cupcake, it seems, is not very good, although they have not yet tasted it. Tomorrow we will know for sure (and we will take measures to improve the results).
As for the smell, there was a normal smell of bread in the apartment. Although next to the bread maker itself, there was a little plastic. But the bread was free of foreign flavors.
himik
nothing more than a principle, just in 075S you can bake breads of 750 and 1000,
and in the 755 model there are also 500 g of bread
lump
Hurray, she (x / n) has ceased to smell (only near the x / n itself, if you sniff hard). Today I put on a cake oven (Elena Bo's recipe) and left home. I came, and at the entrance it smells SO !!!!!!! In general, I felt all the joy of buying And the cake is SUPER !!!!
Bee
I think that in the 075 model you can also bake 500 gr. bread. The main difference: the 755 added a gluten-free baking program, + an automatic dispenser. The rest of the differences are insignificant. I use the instructions for the 125 model. There is to 755 in Italian, but having compared, I realized that it is less informative (much fewer recipes and there is no clear description of all the baking stages, although in identical programs in 075, 125 and 755 the duration of the stages is slightly different) than to 125.
Yuriy
Good afternoon everyone.
I bought a 755s stove in Kharkov in Elektrolenda for 540 UAH. I chose mainly because of the presence of a dispenser and after reading information on the internet.
1. So far I tried to bake only French and turbo - it turns out delicious, but for some reason the top is not convex, but even or even slightly concave. Is this how it should be or should you experiment with the amount of water, flour, yeast?
2. Once there was not enough flour, I had to add 60-80 grams of buckwheat, ground in a coffee grinder - the color turned brownish, the taste was normal, the buckwheat flavor was heard, maybe just a little.
3. But there was a question with a dispenser (in fact, the presence of a dispenser largely determined the choice of the stove). I loaded raisins into the dispenser and started program 2 with a delayed start, but the tray did not open (the stove cover did not open after loading the tray). Why? Somebody knows? The instructions say that the mode can be turned on anywhere in the menu, but it is better to use it in programs 1,2,3,4. How to enable the mode is unclear. In my opinion, the dispenser should open in any case, and whether it pours out or not depends on whether the dispenser is loaded or not. Or am I wrong?
Yuriy
Dear 755 users, please answer someone!
Still, how and in what modes should the dispenser work? Why doesn't it open in a delayed start program? (Without the deferred one - I don't know, I haven't tried it, because there is not enough time in the daytime, but I put it on at night. But, after all, with the deferred start, its work is needed, since in direct mode you can also fill up manually). Or do you need to contact the service?
Along the way, I draw your attention (maybe it already was on the forum) - some recipes from the instructions are completely wrong (for example, 500 grams of bread in No. 2 requires 520 grams of flour). If we calculate the proportions of recipes for different weights, then it turns out nonsense. I downloaded the instruction for 125 and am correcting it.
natalka
Yes, with a dispenser you get some kind of riddle. It is difficult to explain what happened without such a stove, but only a couple of people can have it on the site. Someone has already mentioned the purchase of 755, but I can't say for sure who. Maybe the owners will still respond.
Rem
For Yuriy
About the wrong recipes: I have delonghi 125s, there are also mistakes. Therefore, today I offered an option how not to get caught in this. It should help beginners. See the message in "the basics of baking", "the ratio of dry / liquid ...". I will be glad if it helps you, but why the dispenser did not work for you, I don’t know. But I should.
Elena Bo
Insofar as none of the owners of this model has yet responded, I can assume that it is possible in your HP, there are 2 modes in one program - with a dispenser and without a dispenser. That is, you need to select the one you need so that it opens during the mixing process. Check if I'm right or not.
Yuriy
Maybe there are two modes, but how they turn on - there is no information (and there are no buttons for this either. I'll take you to the service. After the service (if they find what's wrong) I'll write to the forum.
Yuriy
The service checked and said that the dispenser in the 755 works only on the 4th program. Moreover, due to the fact that it is opened not by an electromagnet, but by a motor, the opening time is very short.
At the weekend I checked it in work - it is. The dispenser opens, but closes for 2-4 seconds. If you put something dry (nuts, dry raisins) into it - they have time, if you put something not very dry (tried the ham) - the dispenser opens, but almost nothing has time to get enough sleep. Reflash the stove program so that the dispenser opens on different programs and for a longer time they refused in our service (even if you agree to a loss of warranty). So, if someone needs a dispenser for use in different modes and with different products - 755 in my opinion is not suitable, you need to look at 125.
Yuriy
1. Still, back to the question of using the dispenser in the 755.
Maybe someone knows or from their own experience: as I wrote, the service said that the opening of the dispenser was sewn on only on one 4th program, BUT the instructions say that it could be from 1st to 4th. Maybe this is the marriage of my stove? Or is the instruction lying?
2. Since the cycle time within each program is not scheduled for the 755, is it possible to rely on the descriptions of 125 when using the 755 programs?
Rem
The most reliable for your case is to look for someone who has this model (maybe on the forum of your city) or look for information with a search engine on the Internet. And then you will know everything. Since no one here responds. And using data from 125s is somehow unreliable, at your discretion
Rem
On the 755 forum, Bee and Oranze have a model. Ask them.

1. In 755 Delongy, the dispenser automatically opens 20 minutes after the start of the kneading (10 minutes before the end of the kneading), but the dispenser does not open on the French bread program in my oven. Plus opens on kneading pizza dough.
2. You can navigate, but the stages are somewhat different. But the principle of operation of the stove becomes more clear.
The most correct recipes for a weight of 700-750 grams. In general, you can choose a recipe to your liking on the forum (try Italian bake on 1 program).

I duplicate my post from another topic with amendments (read my posts).
My comments on the operation of this stove: as it turned out, I do not need a dispenser, in addition to everything, if the bread is high, then directly under the dispenser the crust is fried more or rests against it and this spoils the appearance of the bread (especially for the cake from Elena Bo). Increasing the baking time to reach the brown top of the bread did not lead to anything, but following Pakat's recommendation, I attached several layers of food foil on the inside of the lid - the crust is excellent. Plus, I changed the order of the ingredients: I pour the liquid over the flour (there is no objective data on improving the quality of bread, and subjective data show that the bread has become better).
During the last deboning (about 1 hour 50 minutes before the end of the 1st program), large air bubbles remain in the upper part of the kolobok and therefore the crumb in the bread may not be uniformly porous. Therefore, if there is time, after the last deboning, I take out the dough, take out the spatula, form the bread from the dough, tucking the edges towards the center and put it back in the bucket (it takes me less than a minute). As a result, the crumb is homogeneous and even, moreover, not a torn hole is formed in the bread, but a small hole 1.5 cm high.
Many may ask, why then KP, if you have to look into it so much and help her bake bread? Yes, I would not interfere in her work: the bread is good enough, but after reading the forum I want to bring the bread to the ideal.
Alaka
bought Delongee 755.
very nra, everything is super.
only 1 question - who puts the delayed start at night - how do you sleep ???
It seems to me that it is so noisy - like a dot-matrix printer :) And when the dispenser beeps, I don't know where to run just :) It seems that at night it will be all so noisyoooooooooo.
Bee
We sleep well. During kneading, decibels were not measured, but the stove does not work loudly, and even quietly against the background of a dot matrix printer. But the sound signal works well. Almost inaudible from the kitchen behind closed doors.
el_koval
It's not true that the dispenser works only on program 4, I have a model 755, and in it it works on all programs.
Alaka
my dispenser does not work on program 2 - and this pleases me - I turn it on at night :)
Geosun
Hello everyone, I have a 755 model, I bought it to replace the broken LG, so I can compare. I had the cheapest LG-scale, but still I liked it more.
Firstly, the 755 is very noisy, you can't leave it at night, this applies to mixing, and sound signals will raise the dead.
Secondly, the dispenser is extremely inconvenient, only nuts spill out of it, such a narrow slot opens in it. (it works with the dolche and torta programs).
True, there are no complaints about the bread itself. And of the advantages, I note the heating of the dough, it rises very well, even if the room is cool, this was not the case on LG.
But the jam turns out not so tasty, and after the jam you have to wash the whole HP, so it is done.
Scarlet
The dispenser also works on the main program.
But the sound signal is yes .... although I did not hear the signals of other bread makers.
And just do I am very happy with my HP.
It is a pity that they did not translate the book with recipes into Russian.
kaminka
My dispenser works on almost all programs ... it seems like only French is not present and on baked goods ... and even on pizza it works and even on gluten-free bread

but at the expense of the signal it is loud, but I have a door in the kitchen, although one night I thought we would wake up, but we didn’t sleep and didn’t hear anything

It’s a pity that they didn’t translate the book with recipes into Russian.
I have a translation, but it would be better if it didn't exist. Naturally, I started according to recipes from the instructions of the simplest ones - for throwing away. I began to compare it with the Italian version, it has a minimum loaf of 750g. Someone smart, I don't know how, translated the proportions into 500g in the Russian version, and it turned out to be 520g of flour for 215ml of water. You imagine this messy, who then knew about the kolobok: (In general, I use the recipes from the instructions very, very carefully, all the tried ones have been edited.
The dispenser seems to work in all modes except French.
Scarlet
Of course, I have instructions for the bread maker (along with recipes) in Russian. I was referring to a color book in Italian (there are 40 recipes); and there, by the way, recipes from 750g to 1.25kg (there are no 500g). The main elements: flour, water, oil, salt, sugar - you can understand, but the rest Or no one else has an Italian book?
Bee
On our site there is an instruction for 125 Delongy, there are all these recipes in the instructions. You just have to download and no headache. By the way, I did the same, especially since my 755 Delongy in Russian had only one line on the title page of the instruction.
Scarlet
Bee, thanks for the advice! I downloaded the manual for the 125 model - there are even more recipes than I expected. These recipes + recipes from the site - you can make a baking plan for half a year in advance
Seraphim
Yesterday I became the owner of a DeLonghi 755 stove, take a newbie.
I chose according to the principle - from the available ones, and that there was an automatic dispenser, because I plan to mainly hit muffins and sweet buns with raisins and nuts.
When I took the stove from an online store, I was unpleasantly surprised at the quality of the plastic and the assembly - uneven slots, remnants of flash on the edges of the stampings ... Instructions, a collection of recipes and controls in Italian are, of course, tin. But nothing, I'll get used to it.
Yesterday I had time to try on the very first recipe, the wrong one - 520 grams of flour per 500 grams of finished bread. But it dawned on me today, and yesterday I poured water three times.
However, the result turned out to be quite edible.
I wrote about the same in more detail 🔗If you are interested, you can read it.

... I was unpleasantly surprised at the quality of the plastic and the assembly - uneven gaps, burnt residues at the edges of the stampings ...
There was nothing like that in my stove. By the way, I already wrote somewhere that the first impression of the toy and flimsy stove immediately passes when you see how easily it kneads the dough from 600-680 grams of flour.
Scarlet
Seraphim, I read in your LJ that you did not understand everything about the dispenser. There is no need to run anywhere at night on a signal. After you load the products into the HP for the recipe, close the lid, carefully open the dispenser door and add the additive there, and the HP will then do everything by itself - the additive will fall asleep when needed. Simply put, the automatism of the dispenser does not consist in opening the top door, but in pouring in the additive (i.e., not what is above the lid opens, but what is under it). I don't know if I explained clearly.
Seraphim
Yeah thanks!
I thought that the instructions were translated crookedly. For it says in Russian in white: do not try to open the dispenser lid with your hands, at the right moment the stove will give a signal to fall asleep and the lid will open by itself.
I already took a closer look at the design last night and realized that the bottom cover is opened by the stem, which presses on the lever-tongue. Since no more drives were found on the lid, I realized that I should not be afraid to break, but put more effort (I could pull out the bucket only from the third run, with an intermediate reading of the instructions - I think if it is there something else is fixed - no , all on pure friction).
In general, I opened the lid. Probably, the reason is still in the very low build quality of my copy - because it is really very difficult to open. There, the "beak" on the dispenser lid should snap into place behind the "shelf" on the stove cover. So, when I finally opened it, there was a noticeable groove on the shelf opposite the beak.
Pr-rocked Chinese.
Rem
I'm talking about the Chinese, as you said. Long researched who produces Delonghi stoves - confirmed by infa, in Italy. This was confirmed by our member of the forum, who lives in Italy. Check the barcode if China-69 is the first. Maybe you have a fake? In mine, I don't like the teflon coating of the bucket and the white crust of bread. And the rest is the norm, I'm satisfied. Dispenser is optional

it's kind of like about that bottom cover, which opens when pressed

but with the top one I also suffered for a long time ... I was afraid to break now, but now it opens itself when you open the lid of the bread machine and the lid is hot, while you can see it expands from heating
