Ingredients

Durum wheat flour 500 g
Instant dry yeast 1 pack. (7 gr)
Powdered sugar 50 g
Vanilla sugar 1 pack. (10 gr)
Salt 1 pinch
Eggs 2 pcs.
Egg white 1 PC.
Cream (fat) 250 ml
Raisins (raisins) 150 g
Egg yolk 1 PC.
Milk 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Continuing the theme of "brioche" ... To be honest, I don't remember how this recipe came to me. Sorry for the photo ... the camera left, took pictures with the phone. So:
  • Mix yeast with flour. I had this Braided brioche
  • Add powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, whole eggs, egg white and cream. Stir for 5 minutes. using an electric mixer with a mixing paddle, first at low speed, then at high speed. Place the dough in a warm place to rise, doubling its volume. Add raisins. Roll two-thirds of the dough into three strands, 40 cm long. Twist them and place on a greased baking sheet. Use a rolling pin to make a depression in the middle. Whisk the egg yolk with the milk and brush over the surface of the dough, setting aside a little. Roll the remaining dough into three 34 cm strands. Braid and lay on top of the first weave. Place in a warm place to allow the dough to come through, doubling the volume (width and height). Spread on the remaining egg and milk mixture.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200 ° C for 35 minutes.
