Seaside baked zucchini

Ingredients

zucchini 500g
potatoes 250g
tomato 250g
grated cheese 75g
sour cream 100g
flour 4 tbsp. l
crackers 1 tbsp. l
basil, parsley taste
olive oil for frying
salt taste

Cooking method

  • Until all the zucchini of this summer have been eaten, I suggest using them in this simple Croatian recipe.
  • 1. Boil potatoes in their skins, peel and cut into thin slices.
  • 2. Peel the squash, cut into thin strips, roll in flour and fry on both sides.
  • Seaside baked zucchini
  • 3. Cut the peeled tomatoes and sauté in oil. Add basil, crackers and parsley.

  • 4. In a greased baking dish, line the squash and potatoes in layers. Season each layer with salt and pour over the stewed tomato sauce.
  • The top layer should be zucchini.

  • 5. Pour the vegetables with a mixture of sour cream, cheese and 1 hour. l. olive oil and bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes.

Note

The casserole is good because it cooks very quickly, especially when there are pre-cooked potatoes in their skins.
The dish can serve as a side dish and also be the main dish.
