Note

This recipe is from the book that came with the multicooker. In order to save money, I would replace the mascarpone with sour cream thrown on cheesecloth overnight, but I really wanted something for tea, so we managed with homemade cottage cheese of incredible fat content (my mother-in-law is trying!) Without additives. Of course, the cheesecake came out a little plump, but still delicious! The cookies used ordinary "Maria", although they did not add sugar to the mixture with butter, and so a very tasty base turned out. This is right after baking:

I got it on the steam basket:

Cream cheese is what, if seen, it would be great, and cheesecake 5 points

Thank you ! Mascarpone, in principle, also refers to cream cheese, but most often for some reason they share the names mascarpone and cream cheese such as Philadelphia or ricotta, but they taste the same to me. These cheeses are absolutely not grainy, very creamy. At home, they are made by hanging sour cream fatter in gauze overnight. But you can bring fatty cream almost to a boil, add lemon juice, stir and leave a little over the fire (5 minutes). then remove the pan from the stove and leave it to cool and separate it into curd mass and whey, and then throw it back on cheesecloth and hang it for 12 hours. But of course it's much easier with good sour cream

I also thought about buying a multicooker or a mulinex or a Panasonic, but there is absolutely no place to put it, if only to give a steamer to my parents, as I understand it will not be needed
And I like cheesecake in a double boiler (than in an oven), but the container for rice is not large and the shape is not very convenient, but in a multicooker, what can you cook in the shape of a multicooker?
exiga
Yes, in a saucepan. It's just that in the cartoon you get an awesome baked bottom, and the top is like from a double boiler, so all lively. The oven seems to me to dry out after all. The steamer is really great to replace cartoons, so you can safely please your parents

: hi: Hello, I was presented with a Philips HD3025 / 03 multicooker, but the recipe book was not included. I'm in a panic. : o There are only two modes of rice and porridge. And somewhere I heard that in all multicooker you can cook and bake meat and pies. Tell me please. I did not find any recipes for this particular model
